What does modified sine wave mean?

It makes me want one just for that!

It depends what you want, if its for light use, a modified sine wave is fine. And at this price you can hardly complain.
A Modified-sine wave inverter produce a power wave that is not exactly the same as electricity from the power grid. For most use this is fine.
The other output voltage wave form is pure sine wave with very low harmonic distortion and clean power like utility-supplied electricity.
Modified Sine Wave works well for most uses, and is the most common type of inverter on the market. Pure Sine Wave inverters are more suited for sensitive electrical or electronic items such as laptop computers, stereos, printers, specialized applications such as medical equipment, or power tools.

Hope that helps, if you want to know anymore give me a PM and i'll get back to you
