cold, not a £400 mixer
This is gonna be on the daily HUKD email alert ....
Bought something similar from LIDL (it was a multimixer = mixer, beater & blender), I think it was a silvercrest. Lasted about 3-4 months & said it had a 2 or 3 year warranty. So, took it back to LIDL and they said we don't deal with warranties after 28 days, contact such & such and they'll send you an address to send it back to them at (I think the address was in Europe). It's still lying in wait for us to find the time & energy to send it back to Europe for repairs

I've noticed that with all Lidl and aldi products. After the 28/30 day return all warranty claims have to be sent to Germany.

But they send you a postage paid label and you just drop it off at the Post Office. Easier than going back to the shop!
Got a similar one in Aldi last month (£49.99). It's AMBIANO make and is identical to the one offered by Daily Mail in their Offers section at £79.99 with some highly inflated RRP shown.
Seems pretty good, also has a 3 year warranty.
THEY SELL OUT FAST !
If you wait till they're back in stock they'll swap it. Did that with a sewing machine a year or 2 ago

Thanks for the info... I will keep that in mind.
Any reviews of this from prior years

I think if you're holding up a queue while quoting Lidl policy and calmly demanding your legal rights they may find someone who can help! Good luck.

Cheer's! That seems like a good idea too! We'll try the phone route tomorrow & if things don't move we can do the polite-queue-holding route

did they actually say they wouldn't take it back or that they dont deal with warranties?
cos there is a difference
have taken stuff back after 10months and they have refunded - if i wanted a warranty claim then mr lidl cashier isnt going to pop the lid and have a look is he?
Anyone picked one up

That's because EVERY Lidl Item Is just cheap Junk!
Nowadays I just walk past the stands where they sell the non-food items

What's the point from some 3year warranty if the stuff is of the poorest quality and unusable... Sure most of the stuff will work for the 3years -AS YOU WILL NEVER EVEN USE IT!

you are not answering the question
lidl does not 'honour' any warranty
lets make it simple:
did they refuse a refund? did you have the receipt?
