I heard that when cordless handsets first came out for landlines, that's how the Chinese gave us aids.
Got the same tarriff last month. Got an email yesterday saying the price is increasing by 50p already!

Will update thread mate, cheers
I got 100GB + 100Gb plus ultd everything else for £20 per month with a £75 BT reward card and BT sport can't believe its coming to and end soon , 12 month deals lol not using much data at the moment though ....I think 5GB would last me for the next year of lockdown
Which of these companies are the best for this. I have used Fonehouse for last 2-3 years. No problems. Also gutted that this is cheap. But these deals usually come with Spotify. Anyone know why they ain’t doing this as much now. Thank you

Are you saying they're increasing your tariff as they like within the 12 month contract mate?
Tempted but..
Do you have to have a 5G phone to use this?

Yep, apparently it’s a standard fee increase that happens every April. My last contract was with three and never increased. Weird

They are also removing Turkey from their roam free zones from 6 May 2020, probably won't affect many people this year though.
Are these redemption deals a bad idea in current climate? If mobiles.co.uk (carphone warehouse) go bust, all cash back is gone I assume?

Don't sound right if you took it at a price for 12 months, tucked away in the small-print no doubt..
Still tempted by Vodafone deals but can't work out which speed cap would do me ; 2, 10 etc Mbps.. Hard life!

There is always a risk - having been caught out when Phones4U went under and not receiving any of the cashback, even big players can go under and I am wary. However, I would think CPW would be a safer bet than a smaller player - and given their recent announcement to close standalone stores to focus on the instore CurrysPCW and online, then it suggests they have already made any changes to continue profitably? There is always a risk though, particularly with the current situation.
So the bill you’d get charged each month is £8:50 ? Bit confused here

No, £20. You claim £138 back over the 12 month period, effectively making the monthly £8.50

Oh, didn't see that, can you report this deal then please.
I'm getting fully fed up with Three and their awful signal, and this deal is pretty tempting. I've never done a cashback contract before, nor used Fonrhouse. Is it as simple as setting a reminder for each month that needs a redemption, then emailing them a bill?
Can you keep your existing no. with offer? it does not give an options to add any PAC no or ask about keeping the existing no

Same here. They've gone right down the pan, so I'm currently scouting out deals. Previously used EE, best ISP in my experience, but they tend to be too expensive for my pocket. Hmmm.....

This is a good deal, Switchy, but ideally I could do with unlimited data. Cannot use broadband where I live.

Are you on unlimited now?
Yes, with Three. Have used them for 3 years (haha). Had very good speeds, but last 4/5 months have been absolutely dire, barely useable tbh, don't know why. Perhaps because they are rolling out 5G to the detriment of 4G bandwidth? Shame really, many, many similar complaints from other users. I've had enough, can't even connect my tablet via hotspot, which of course, could do previously.
Interesting.

But I don't have a 5G phone.

Haven't really been thinking about getting a new phone, but, I guess I'll need an upgrade to get the most out of deals like this

what is the data cap on this deal? not specified. i'm sure there is a data cap as on Vodafone official website, there are caps on all 'red' deals
