I called them yesterday and they said it's a temporary measure and will most likely go back to post method after Lockdown is over. This is the only sore point keeping me away from them
Good deal. But for me can't be ars*d with cash back deals, life's too short.I find if you ring up and ask if any deals on at the moment you can get a good deal without the hassle/potential risk of these cash back deals.

I hope so Greg, just people need to do what I stated in the last line and then we get it for under £7. I understand some people are not happy with affordablemobile.co.uk. Personally speaking they have now started doing email redemption which is great.

Cash back via emails now

Isn't that just temporary due to Coronavirus. I'm guessing it'll go back to postal claims only, when things get back to normal.

I used my Link stated on the adv. It only takes me to all the Vodafone deals. But I get it, your link works too. May be perhaps mods can help it that by doing the needful... Regardless, I have tried to be explicit how to get it cheaper. Hope it help guys. Thanks

You can it worked for me
Can I transfer my existing vodafone number to this? The checkout screen seems to suggest if you have an existing vodafone account it will just add the new number to the account

Can i bring o2 number to this after a month once contract has started and still get the cashback? Or do i need to add the pac code now? I still have a month left on my o2 contract.

Probably worth ringing and asking them direct. I'm sure there will be others interested in this scenario!
Combine with unlimited data for 6 months for NHS..

I like your post. Quite funny in this pandemic scenario
I'm already with Vodafone, but outside of my contract. If I got this deal is there any way I could keep my phone number?

No . You need transfer your number to other network and after you can back to vodafone. I am on Vodafone too. Every year I transfer number to ID for 2 days and after I transfer back to vodafone on new contract. Generally you can do it with every pay go sim or any monthly sim

Vodafone did this for me last year but it took a few weeks, they said you cant go from voda contract to voda contract?
Like I said they did it but was hard work.
I believe there are guides to buy a cheap pay and go transfer to that for a week or so then transfer to your new sim keeping your number, i will have to look into it myself. I have a month to run on my contract, not sure if to overlap with this?

That one has international calls and spotify etc. Filter by Vodafone and there is one without them extras for £9 a month

Thanks, voted hot
Yet another Vodafone deal, slightly lower again! Heat added, thanks OP

Any idea on the expiry of this one; basically, I don't need it until we can all travel freely again, so trying to hold-off as long as possible to get use of the full 12-months?

Cheers

I think your patience is paying up

At this rate, you will have it for free mate!
@xx_elle_xx_95@sebocardiff@lpoolm

Just wanted to provide further information as I'm in a similar situation.

Based on what we've seen on other contract deals, a common action is evident with Vodafone.

You cannot port from Vodafone Pay Monthly to Vodafone Pay monthly. (Which has been established here too)

What you have to do is port out from Vodafone Pay Monthly either to another network or a Vodafone Pay As You Go SIM and then once that has been done, port the number back to the new contract. (I believe this still has to be done even if you are out of contract but still on Pay Monthly)

With regards to entering your existing number during the checkout, it will add the contract to an existing account but won't swap your numbers. With this you will be able to view bills for both numbers in one place.

Finally, I believe based on the above if the existing Vodafone SIM you are on is Pay As You Go then you should be able to switch the number easily. Without any wait or porting out.

do these voda deals come along often? my contract is up next month so just started looking, might take a punt and go for this and overlap if these current deals seem unusual.
thanks

Thanks for the suggestion and it is indeed a good data 'situation' currently. However, my intended useage would be while 'roaming' in the EU and if anything changes then 8GB is not enough for my needs. Vodafone offer 25GB max while roaming and my guess is that their speeds will also be better, as opposed to their second-tier, Voxi.

Lastly, I am certainly not their intended 'audience', use very little social media and never play bingo

That's why I suggested Voxi as it is Vodafone run in the same office and on the same speeds.Suggested as nobodies going anywhere roaming until next year but might come in handy in your 14 days isolation in each country
