almost £30 for only 60gb?!

am I missing something? - I picked up a 320gb 2.5" drive for only £44.

This seems FREEZING cold. :whistling:

yes but this is v small and v portable i.e pocket size .............

If you need 320GB, £44 sounds like a reasonable deal. If all you need is cheap portable storage and you are unlikely to fill a 60GB drive then

Anyone know if these are any good ? They seem almost TOO cheap ???

I was buying something else when I spotted this, so it is very cheap for me. Not much to loose by trying it.

No, it's a 2.5", just like the one toonarmani mentioned.

It's an alright deal I suppose if 60GB is what you commonly need to store. Most people will either need more or not need as much though so they're better off with a 320GB+ or a flash drive respectively. Luke warm.

Anyone know if it's SATA or IDE in these?

:w00t: ....WHERE FROM?

Must be worth a listing here on HOTDEALS as I can't find one that cheap (unless you're confusing this external USB with the internal SATA one on Amazon that comes in at over £61 when you factor in the casing)

This bay uses a SATA HDD. If you are after this bay without a HDD, then take a look at #34906

Iomega one in Tesco, has been on here along with a 500gb for about £65. The 500gb had a SATA Seagate drive in which is now inside my EEE PC. I think this is a cold deal as you can get a much bigger drive for not much more or you'd be better of using a flash drive for portability.

The Iomega 320GB you mentioned from Tesco is £69.97, its the 250GB that is £44.97.

As mentioned by others - Tesco deal 320gb was the same same price as 250gb.
