Looks a good deal

Looks a great deal. Topcashback 10% as well! Heat added.
Not used them before how does it work?
It appears you register and pay Groupon and then contact the hotel to confirm which night you want. How do the hotel know that you have paid in advance?

Is there Quidco too? Through which link?

edit: only under tcb using 'groupon' link it seems

No chance am I paying in advance without knowing availability. It's basically buying a coupon.

Great deal! Heat added

Having never used a Groupon before can't get my head round how this works. Seems to me you could end up shelling out 62 quid and not getting the hotel booking date you want. Weird!

They don't charge you until they reach the required number of applicants. If they don't get the applicants they want nobody is charged. They don't seem to tell you how many they need though!

Sounds too good to be true?

Groupon deals get posted every single day on here - if you haven't heard of them by now have a little search and find out about them.

I actually live in the Peak District and might do this just for a meal and a night out

nice pub this, often call in when im out out my bike in the summer

do you get a nice printed voucher for this? as im thinking of getting it as a xmas gift for my mum

No longer on website - shame

Thanks again to amibees for posting this deal.

I have never used Groupon before but everything so far has gone very well.

I was a little worried that there didn't seem to be any limit on applications and when it got to over 400 I thought how could a 16 bed hotel cope!

However the deal was confirmed overnight and I booked the hotel without any problems the next day.....they are even confirming the booking in writing.

I now see they have extended the validity of the offer to end April just in case anyone does not get the dates they want.
