If it has cosmetic damage then there is no route to take with Apple. Do you have any experience with A graded stock from Grainger Games?

It’s an “A” Grade so would expect it to be in as new condition. If it’s not then simply return it under PayPal so you’re covered
Seems really cheap. What's better value Grade A or Grade B?
Looking for an iPad for a 4 year old to play basic games/apps and watch YouTube. Has anyone any recommendations on which iPad would be good enough for this (iPad 3?).
All sold when choosing to buy
Any of the other Grainger iPads a hot deal?
Yes you can get the 2017 iPad for about 199 I think. But I got an iPad Pro 10.5 64GB Cellular for £277 but it was a B grade. Will report back when/if it comes.

An iPad mini would suffice, Or cheapest you can lay your hands on. Pretty much anything will be suitable for your requirements.
Found a 12.9 iPad pro 32gb for £279. Very cheap!

IPad 3 is probably fine but I wouldn’t go lower than a 4 or Air at this point. The 3 was quickly superseded by the 4 because it was obvious it didn’t have quite enough grunt for day-to-day stuff. Even the iPad 2 is probably ok as the lack of Retina display makes it run a bit quicker.

Not the first or second gen though.
iPad Mini 3 or iPad Air 1 - both ranging from 100-200. Any lower you'll probably experience some problems when it comes to gaming, I had an iPad 3 and it's been getting very veryy slooow.

No. IPad mini 1 used the A5 which matched the iPad 2 without retina so is actually ok. Mini 2 and 3 are identical hardware other than Touch ID. Mini 2 is surprisingly powerful as it’s the Air 1 in a smaller body.

Grainger have an iPad Air 2 16GB in grade B for around £150 if I recall which is an absolute steal for a modern iPad that’s better than the 2017 economy special iPad they released.

The first gen mini doesn’t get the latest version of iOS though.

Not everyone wants iOS 11, probably also not the 4-year old child the original poster asked for. And still doesn't explain why you also discounted the iPad mini 2? iOS 11 makes even my Air 2 feel slow, the only thing that didn't feel slow I used it on was an iPad Pro 10.5.

Quite! On the other hand, if your four-year-old child is into first person shooter games , latest apps or heavy graphics, then please discount my words.

Also, how long before it is dropped and the screen is cracked! Hence, the cheaper the better. And on this point, you may wish to add a case and a screen protector. Happy days.
Thanks all for the advice

I ordered a 32GB 9.7" iPad Pro Rose Gold/Vodafone for £217 so interesting to see what the condition is like.

Item got delivered today. Wow! Great condition. Mint as stated. Very happy with it
Got a grade B iPad Pro 10.5” delivered today. It was boxed with all accessories and virtually new. It was meant to be Rose Gold but it’s actually a much more ‘male acceptable’ Gold, not bad for £277.

Also a Note 8 for £370 on EE, no accessories but virtually unmarked. Don’t see what the bad reviews are about, if this is how they operate, then will be happy to buy again and again.

My minor criticism would be slow dispatch and no tracking information, but as long as it all turns up we are golden.

Hi. My iPad pro I ordered was canceled a 6 days later. After confirming it was going to be sent on on Tuesday for today Wednesday.
They said they had more advertised than sold.

They only gave me 10% off. Do I have more rights?

I also sold my current 9.7 iPad pro after being told it is going to be sent*

Bad luck but these things do happen unfortunately and to a number of companies.
When buying used goods I wouldn't sell the product it's replacing until you've received it and checked the condition.
It can be a bit of a lottery buying used goods online from my experience.

So my c grade iPad pro 12.9 was dirty but (after a clean) I'd call it b grade - only minor scratches on the back. Better though - the idiots threw in an apple smart keyboard - so it's almost £1k of stuff for £279!

I am forever chancing C grade items to be honest! I would have done the same thing. I’m not a knob about it though, if it’s scratched but works I’ll keep it (as long as it’s not stuff like screen burn or cracked casing, or in the case of CeX, a Surface Book that was physically bent...). Got an Alienware M17x R3 for £280 the other day as a result and it was also virtually unmarked, never know how it got a C grade.

I ordered one of the 64gb 10.5" iPad Pro on Friday. Still haven't had a dispatch email, they haven't replied to my emails and none of their phone numbers work. Seriously unimpressed.
What courier did they use for those that have received theirs?
Mine was dispatched Tuesday but not received it yet.

I had an issue with an iPad I ordered, was meant to be a Pro 9.7" (A1673) was actually an iPad 2017 (A1822). Rung the number on the invoice, got through in less than a minute to someone called John. Super-friendly, explained the situation, got given a £35 refund to keep it which is fine, an iPad 2017 for £200 near mint with box and warranty - no hassle for me and a great quality item at a bargain.

Very impressed with these guys, they did have to cancel one of my items off, but knowing how their system works (it's really archaic, they internally order from the store to head office then ship it to you hence items going out of stock or duplicate orders and 3-5 working days), it is honestly no worse than Cash Converters, Cash Generator or, heaven forbid, CeX.

To people who asked, I had items sent by DPD Expresspak 5 which is Next Working Day and tracked but not insured (not my problem though).

Sure. It’s ‭0191 218 1820‬ from my paper invoice. The guy who answered was called Jon. He was really polite, friendly and accommodating. He said he would email me on the status of an order, and he did that without needing a follow up. Thursday eve is still within 3-5 working days (just), it seems what happens is they ship from the individual store to head office to you, unless they can’t get stock - which, let’s face it, CeX etc do that all the time.

Good luck!
