quick question for the techies here, this is sata 6Gb, will it be backward compatible with sata 1.5Gb, there are mixed opinions on the net so im not being lazy here!

It is compatible but the speed will be limited by a SATA II port, as SATA II only allows 375mb/s connection.

what is the point of ssd? a computer for when your joging? i've never had a normal one fail on my laptop that gets jolted alot
