I have not ordered with GG. Before but the problems
I have found so far are:

1. No grading system so I don’t know what I’ll be getting, what they mean by A grade and so on...
2. Warranty is extremely vague and 6 months from what I understand.
3. After reading their terms and cons the refund would be in an exchange voucher. Keeping in mind the terms and cons are really short.
4. Really bad reviews on trust pilot; including no refunds, bad customer service (ignoring your emails), item not delivered on time and cancelling the order without you asking them to.

If you are going to order from them I would take this into consideration and use PayPal if you do go ahead. I think it is not worth the risk since it involves so much money.

If someone has ordered a phone or device please let us know about your experience.

Great price.

Cant find any details about their grading system. Is this boxed with accessories?

Anyone have good results from Grainger regarding graded items?

That's a good price
Voted hot, and was gonna buy, but the reviews on trust pilot have put me well off.
Good spot op even if it is an inferior phone
Heat thanks to OP ordered paid via pay pal
Bit strange that they don't have a grading description.
Can anyone find one?

Never had a problem with Grainger Games myself, but not bought hardware. Must look at reviews and see what has changed...

Too much there to make me not want to buy, what's that saying, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

they dont price match anyone or anything as far as I know
thats a great price, if only I could just upgrade my s8 to this for £100

cex are usually very wide of the mark when grading too, but at least 1) I can see the item 2) 2 year guarantee
I got a Note 8 on EE for £357 - I am surprised I haven't heard of them before but if this all goes to plan, then I will be very happy with that.

Thanks. I also had a look at the TrustPilot reviews, generally dire. This is cheap but also appears to be a case of 'buyer beware'. You may be lucky and end up with a phone in as-new condition that lasts years, but for me, for £400+ quid, that is too much of a risk to take.

If ordered and phone turns out in appalling condition, does the long distance selling regulation not apply if you want to return and get money back not vouchers?

Yeh if you claim it's faulty, a company can't leave you in a position worse than before you bought, meaning they cover return postage too
Dodgy company lol
I'd also hazard a guess that without proof of ORIGINAL purchase, your mobile phone insurance will be invalid. I have one of those bank accounts where the insurance is included and I'm quite sure they require the receipt and IMEI at all times.

I only placed an order today but wanted to add my bit:

1. Agreed, but I would therefore imagine the industry standard grading is fine and A or B will be half decent
2. Gadgets warranty is displayed as 24 months though no idea what that actually is or how it works - worst case you will have Consumer Contracts Regulations on your side so 6 months and burden on them
3. They can't give you an exchange voucher, even if they claim they will, I'm sure PayPal will take a pretty dim view of that
4. Yes, they have poor reviews on Trustpilot but honestly, some people did kind of flaunt their rules or try it on a bit and also buying in store not online/at a distance which also doesn't help. They did respond to most of the criticism directly so I can't believe they are totally ignoring it.

But I guess let's see. I will post my feedback when/if my items turn up.

Used (A) condition is cheaper than Used (B) condition
Will these come boxed?
very nice price. I would have gone for a grade a
I went into a Grainger games store earlier, the grading in the store said, A - mint condition, comes with box and charger. B - very good condition and comes with charger and lastly C - good condition, comes with charger.

I paid £30 more for the same model phone from musicmagpie because Grainger's terms look pretty horrible.

[Image] Used (A) condition is cheaper than Used (B) condition

I think (and I could be wrong) that the orange box coloured ones are the gadgets with the 15% off deal active which is why the A is less than the B. Also B has next day shipping included.

I got a Surface Pro 4 i5 256GB with pen for £394, if that arrives fine I will be thrilled - nothing wrong with my SP3 but the 4 is a good step up and the extra space very welcome.

How 277? I can't find any!!!
Grade A is 351 and grade b is 337.
Tiptop spot and fab value for money devices!

Have had a few vintage & unique items from GG via LUX T, each item has been like new, boxed or bagged and all have come in far better condition than most other "used" sellers, all I would have had to pay at least 30%+ more to buy elsewhere!

As for the mobiles & tablets, if you look into the reviews a bit deeper, a lot are not over the condition of the items received, but more a "oh this didnt have that" or "how can i get the blah to work" which, with android, is a bit obvious to even the youngest
of user!

The warranty is fair and the staff have morals, unlike the 2 other "exchange" companies in the UK!

What is interesting to note, is Grainger Games has recently undergone complete refinancing to the tune of £48 million, these funds will give the company a bit of push, not shove, when it comes to the on line world of 2nd hand repurposed junk trade ins, there is currently nobody anywhere neat the prices of their mobiles, so will be interesting to see how many of the hukd orders are in B or C condition on arrival

Actually spoke to the boss, Steve, many many years ago, very polite and got us a PS2 resent that was a present that arrived smashed to bits by their previous courier, the next day for free, got 4 games (( used as new )) as a sorry as well!
