Future Proof? Is there such a thing?

10bit?

10bit?

Yes the entire KS range are 10 bit and UHD Premium certified.
Been looking for the 55KS7000 for the pass month now with everywhere SOLD out.
Future Proof? Is there such a thing?
"Future proof"? Absolute nonsense. It has a decent length warranty, that doesn't make it "future proof".

Just look what the inflation adjusted equivalent of a current £1250 bought you back in mid-2007, that's exactly how "future proof" this, or any other TV, will look in ten years time.

Fab tv, this is the best quality you will get price wise.
Future Proof:

So it can be upgraded to 8K and HDMI 3.1?

nope, it's outdated within 6 months of purchase, as are most electronic goods
SUHD, Quantum Dot, premium HDR..
lol.. Samsung and it's rubbish marketing gimmicks. I bet the TV is not that great if they have to use all these marketing talk to woo the naive..
lol everyone being so pedantic about "future proof". No **** new version come out every year, that doesn't make something not future proof. Its future proof as long as there no new TV standard that replace it in the near future. so every 4K HDR TV can be said to be future proofed.

wow they have really jacked the price up on the few that are left. this dropped to about £849 at one stage.
"Future Proof"? That TV doesn't have Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos or HLG to name but three and so is already seriously outmoded!
HD is going to be here for at least another decade, going the fact SD still is, and most people are going to happily 'make do' with dvds and blu ray and HD broadcasts either with a HD or basic 4K variant TV without every bell and whistle. Check reviews and buy what you can afford to live with.
This would be OLED if this was future proof

Its warm outside, so have heat here too
cold for curved
Is it 64", like the title says? No.

In that case this is steaming. I got the KS9000 (didnt know the whole KS range was 10bit) for £1400 a while back and thought that was sale of the century!

Its a superb TV and although I know theres not oceans between the 7000/8000/9000 (excluding curve) in terms of spec, so this must be a lot of TV for the money.

Heat. Scorching.

Know a few deals are floating with free soundbars or 4K players, but I think this one has them beat.
