Agree, they are over-stepping the mark. Their whole ethos is that nothing is over £1 in a pound shop ........ then they draw you in and suddenly you find yourself buying something you don't want for a pound, then these for £6.
I wouldn't buy it on priniciple, however I must add that I bought a pack of 90 Platinum tabs for £7.99 from Savers, I take it that these are the ordinry tabs. ( I have not checked if these are still available but I bought them within the past month or so)

Typical of a pound shop, many items they sell are not worth a pound, and can be found cheaper elsewhere ...... that is how they make their profit from the gullible in society. A bit like the Lottery, it is another way to rob the less well off, or those unable to calculate whether something is a good bargain.

btw .... how much are they if you don't buy another item for a £1, or are you banned from buying it altogther?

But i went there to get dishwasher tablets as i was in town and they do 10 Finish for £1 which is cheaper than all the supermarkets including most of there own brands.

How can you blame the shops for misleading, surely its the parents and education system if there unable to calculate??? Pounland and shops alike are great for kids pocket money, its replaced the woolworths of the high st. Yeah its a lot of crap, but there also some good bits and pieces like cables, cleaning products ect..

This site is called Hot UK Deals (not put the world to rights forum!!) and I felt that 67 tablets for £6 is a good deal, even if you gotta spend another £1 on something you may not need... I really cant see whats misleading about it??
I wonder who decided to put 67 tablets in the bag?
i bought this online. good price

The deal title is misleading, that's what.

If you had £6 in your hand and you went into Poundland specifically for this deal you wouldn't be able to get it
I don't understand why some get indignant about Pound Shops having special lines over £1. As long as they're clearly signposted (I've been misled myself, as I posted a Deal for a multipack of Sheba catfood that had no signs instore, placed at the regular £1 Pets section. Obviously a mistake, but annoying).

There's only a handful of these "over £1 lines", usually at the side of an aisle or behind the tills. If you don't want to spend over £1, well, don't!
