I'm looking for something similar which allows tethering. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I looked around and went with plusnet as they do.

Thanks. Will have a look at Plusnet
The wife is with ID, her contract is about to expire. Can a better deal be negotiated?
If not I'll get her this, perfect sim only deal for her.

You'll want to just check what O2 / EE coverage is in your area (the Momma and Pappas of ID / Plusnet)

Plusnet probably don’t have access to EE 800mhz 4G but Three give IDm access to 800mhz 4G... & Wifi Calling. CPW hammered a good deal out of Three Wholesale

Not so, you may not have access to all the big 4 frequencies on a reseller/MVNO. It can make a big difference, esp where EE has boosted its coverage with its blackspot plan where lower frequencies are best used for wide sparsely populated areas. Of course EE was paid to do this as per Emergency Contract (andnetworks will be allowed access to some of them new base stations), Virgin does not have full access to EE, Plusnet & BT may not either.

Ok dokey, my inference from this is that EE offer customers in the Highlands a better mobile experience than it does in areas of England. Which is a shock. More than a surprise. Good for all y'all.

In that case best to go direct and check what people in your area say about virgin and plusnet before getting into a contract with either. Even if its a one month contract.
