I've used them for a couple of months now - someone on here showed me how to get a couple of free months so I figured I'd try it (hey, I could always take the 2 months and then cancel) but ended up sticking with it!

It's on Three's network, so obviously only go for it if you have decent coverage in your area.

They're not the best company but they're certainly one of the cheapest. If it's no frills you're looking for - happy days!
Smarty (3) data coverage can be super sketchy, often no signal at all, when my wife's phone on Voxi (Vodafone) has 3/4 bars, but getting discounted bills with Smarty for unused data is a win in my eyes. Been with them about a year now. Support has also been very good whenever I've needed it.

When I started it was 4gb for £10pm. They've now dropped it to £9pm since introducing those bigger 30GB+ packages. I always get discounted, so usually ends up around £6-£7pm for me

Realistically, there's not much point in commenting on coverage - it's so subjective. Where I am, Three is really solid but when I head over to see friends, their o2 coverage is way better than mine.
Rather pay the extra £3 for 30Gb/month and £10.50 TCB

Not everyone needs large data allocations - there are plenty of options on here but if someone is looking for a basic, cheap deal then this takes some beating
Im with ID on Three and coverage is really unreliable, the point with mobiles is that it is supposed to be mobile. If you stay put a lot and dont do a lot of streaming then maybe it is ok for you but i think I have reached the limit.
Just be warned the customer service is chat based and they take DAYS to reply. Switched a couple of weeks ago and had immediate problems with voicemail. It's still not resolved and am now getting bounced around and given different answers/excuses from different customer support members.

It's great if you want the cheapest, but if something goes wrong or if you have questions you will need to be very, very patient. At least it's month to month so if they can't/won't resolve the issue it can be switched to someone else.

Have you contacted their complaints team? You send an email through and can choose how you want them to reply, email or by phone.
Can someone give me a link to 6gb for £7. Only see 3gb offer.

Their site states

"If you need to make a complaint, please initially use our web chat to see if we can help. "

It also states

"Contacting the webchat team is the quickest way to get a response, but if you would like to send us an email, you can"

There is an option to make a complaint, but given the service I've received so far I don't expect to get a response. I'm still awaiting a response from one team member and it's been a week.

Well I've given you the option, if you can't be bothered to take it then that's on you.

I have been bothered. I currently have 2 webchat conversations running with two separate team members, one of which hasn't responded in over a week, the other took 3 days to respond. If I wasn't bothered I wouldn't have started a second request and tried to follow up each conversation when there is no reply.

I was aware of the complaints form, but they state 7 days to respond. All I am looking for is assistance with a voicemail feature. Starting a complaint doesn't guarantee a solution, which is what I want, and they state going through webchat support is supposed to be the quickest option.

The last conversation I had I was told they don't support the voicemail functionality and to look online for answers. I've also been told the issue I have is not possible to fix, but I know for a fact it is. I've requested the issue be escalated, but have been told there is no facility to escalate.

I'm just trying to point out if you have technical issues you may be on your own.

I've used it twice. The front line cs staff are the same as for any telecoms company - hopeless.
Agreed. the problem is there doesn't seem to be 2nd line support

I've already told you about it! And I've used it, twice!

The people you're talking to have zero idea! Once you get through to Liz at complaints, she should eventually get things sorted

It can be very useful to get some real world feedback on coverage, but people should say where they're experiencing bad coverage.

For example, I live and work around Bristol and have trialled both Smarty and Voxi for about 3 months each, and my advice to anyone considering either in the Bristol area, is to look elsewhere. I find EE very good.

Smarty frustrated the hell out of me, even when I had full signal data was inconsistent, I'd often lose connectivity for hours.

Good price if it works though, and I like the web chat based customer service, beats waiting on hold.
My nan is on Smarty 2GB. I want to log in and switch her to this 6GB but I can't find the deal? Is it expired?

What phone are you using?

I've tried using my mobile (chrome), PC with edge and chrome.
Cleared cache on all, tried incognito and still nothing.

I've given up on it, but great if you've managed to get it!

I've been on them 2 months aswell, sadly the coverage was awful for me so I'm moving to the Tesco deal but it's great value as a rolling contract.

Had a really weird porting process. My number transferred for calls but for texts I had the original number :/
