I thought so too, I can't understand the negativity.

Cold because it’s Virgin Media Mobile. Good luck with their off shore customers services, even retentions/complaints are off shore.
Currently trying to cancel two 30 day rolling contract airtime contracts but they say the separate phone loan contract has to be paid off as well, which is doesn’t. They haven’t replied my Resolver complaint and the UK social media and community forum are unable to do anything. I’m not on my own either.

I found virgin signal to be poor in my area. Much worse than EE. I think due to the lack of 800Mhz signal on virgin.
Check how much data will roll over anything classed as promotional additional data will not be rolled over! I never saw that coming with my contract.

Probably cold as it’s not a guaranteed cashback (though has a good chance) and VM have previously had a 10GB data bundle with unlimited texts and minutes for a tenner a month?

I used VMs 10 GB deal to negotiate the same with EE so I didn’t need to move service provider

It's cold because Virgin Mobile have terrible customer service and will increase your payment way above RPI. They increased my contract by 50%!
Increased mine by 33% and wouldn't let me walk away as consumer law states had to battle through using a 3rd arbitration service who offered me a solution which I accepted but then renaged on the deal when we had to phone their dreadful telephone support up . Back to arbitration again or maybe small claims court to recover costs . Stay away from Virgin

And because Quidco never seems to track and Virgin never honour the cash back.

But to be fair that was the £4 a month deal that was ridiculously cheap anyway. It was £2 extra and you can leave any time. I’ve gone to sky now and am on ult mins and texts and 8gb 4g data for £5 a month. If the deal had been £6 a month all a long you would have been happy. I agree though their tactics are a lot to be desired.

If the deal was bad for them, why did they offer it? As I said to virgin CS, what would you say if I said, I don't use all my allowances, I am going to reduce my payment by 50%. They would say you are under contract, well what's good for them is good for me. I am sick of these companies getting away with murder. I was the small guy fighting for my rights.

I agree however the little guy is also quick to manipulate things for himself. Hence this website. I agree you were under contract and if you don't use it they still charge you. However it was only ever a 30 day contract so they can change the price with 30 days notice. If you don't like it then leave which I did. With sky and 8GB of data that all rolls over and for £5 a month. it's horses for courses if they offered nothing everyone would be moaning there are no offers. People want competition and capitalism they got it. I am happy to play the game but I do not moan if it doesn't always go my way.

Well I had a 12 month contract that they increased by 33% 4 months in then refused to give me my PAC code unless I paid a £29 release clause. They said the tariff I had was being phased out but offered new customers a very similar tariff to my original but only to new customers.........

Their customer service was dissmiissive wouldn't. Refused to spk to my wife, they said she sounded like a man!

Stay away from Virgin , the stress they induce when dealing with them is not worth saving the money

I couldn't agree more. It is not worth the aggro and stress to deal with this company.
