For those that are in the market for Hue GU10 bulbs John Lewis has a great deal as you get 6 bulbs for the price of 4.

Currys seem to also be doing a similiar deal:

Is there a code or something. I’ve added 3 and it’s still showing as £149.97.

You need to scroll down to the "bundles" section and add the 3x GU10 set to your basket instead
I LOVE hue bulbs. Get them quick. Expensive? Yes, but they are so good.
I want these but they are bigger than normal gu10 bulbs

Get the 'INNR' bulbs from Amazon. They are normal size and work with Philips hue hub. Having said that the white gu10s from hue are smaller than the coloured ones. (But still bigger than standard GU10 I think!)

INNR ones don't work with HomeKit (Siri) but other than that they are supposed to work quite well.

These are not the colour GU10s so they are the same size as regular GU10 bulbs (at least I've had no issues fitting them in my place)
I need 16 for my kitchen (already have 32 Hue GU10's around the house + 5 sensors + 2 switches + 4 E27 Hue bulbs).

Ikea do gu10 bulbs that are supposed to be hue compatibale, they are £7 each
I would get this but I would still want to use the standard light switch as it would be for my hallway. When you turn them on from a proper light switch do they remember their last setting or revert to default?

They revert back to standard. I cured this by using the sensors and by removing some of the light switches and replacing with the Hue ones as i just renovated my house. You can use geo-fencing too which i use for some lights and some routines to turn lights on at dawn and switch off at sunset. I've not used a wall switch in weeks

I've got 2 in my hallway with a Hue motion sensor and never touch the light switch anymore.

If you turn them off and on again at the light switch then they will come on at full brightness.

They always turn on when power is switched on (can be an issue if you suffer a power cut as they will all turn on). In my hallway I use the Philips Hue motion sensor so the light comes on automatically but only when the light level is low. Now we never need to use the light switch.
How can one tell if these ones are too big for existing fittings?
And is there any deals which bundle the hue hub?

The hue white and ambience GU10 have a proper form unlike the coloured ones.

I have a mid of innr bulbs and hue in my house and they all work fine with Alexa and I can dim the innr bulbs on my hue app.
I wouldn't buy hue bulbs anymore, I would go for innr, so much cheaper and compatible with Alexa and hue app

Thing is that INNR bulbs only work out 70p less each (Amazon) at this Hue deal price of six for £100 so I don't understand the INNR comments on this deal really.

IKEA ones are a bit cheaper (by about £4.60 per bulb), although personally I'd probably for the £7 IKEA ones the supplement the room with some lamps or Lightstrip.

Not bad compared to the original price but still a little on the expensive side for my taste.
