Noticed today that they have 7 Birthday Cards for a pound, not bad cards either and a nice big selection available. Great for the kids friends birthdays!

I've bought some of these this morning! They are really good quality, surprisingly so. As you say, perfect for kids bday parties.

It says 10 for a quid on the entrance page. Even better! Thanks. Heat!

Yes, they also do 10 for a quid aswell, (I didnt notice them instore today) but I find the 7 for a £1 are better quality and for the sake of 3 cards its worth it.

The 7 for £1 ones are all individually sealed and are way better quality then the others.

Nice deal!

I remember the days when cards cost more then the stamps to post them

For when there is the need for 7 birthday cards for one friend.....

I gave all seven cards to a friend once. I put loads of different in-jokes in each (usually an elaborate pun based around the completely inappropriate pictures on the front), and drew a huge picture across all seven envelopes rather than writng his name on each. Went down fantastically, and the whole lot cost me less than a single card usually costs you. Everyone's a winner

I wouldnt give a card that cost 14p to any one I cared for!

Greeting cards are on the whole, way overpriced and quite a pointless 'social convention'.

Quite frankly, this should be the going rate for cards. Who decided that £2+ is reasonable for card, ink and a cheap design? If you care about a friend, you can get them a meaningful present, or a hand-made card/craft if they're not materialistic.

Good deal, pity you need to brave the dregs of humanity in places like these...

I bought these last week and they are ok. Not the best quality, but perfect for general birthdays. I even gave one to my dad...

Awful cards. Very cheap feeling and the designs are very naff. Spend a little more for decent cards

We got these yesterday. The 10 for £1 ones looked really cheap but the 7 for £1 looked like good quality.

Great deal.

I wouldn't really describe Manchester's Royal Exchange as the home of humanity's dregs. The other stores there are hair stylists, boutiques, a Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.

Why not ?! They all end up in the same place . . . . The bin !!

Good deal. Have used them before. great for Kids birthdays.

Why not? I'd rather get a nice card for 14p (some under this deal are surprisingly acceptable), and use the money saved to spoil someone I care for with it. That's surely much better than spoiling the shareholders of Clintons etc. who you don't even know.

More fool you then :-)

I always get these cards, they have some lovely designs and they are perfect for friends and children. The quality of these is fantastic and no-one would ever guess (unless they buy the cards themselves), that they are so cheap. They certainly feel as nice as clinton type cards.

This offer has been on for a while, worth stocking up though, good quality!

Thanks great find, bought theses a few months back and was wondering when they would come back.
