Wow that's cheap, ordered :-D

H+R

Very cheap would order lol but last 2 i got for sx100 were a complete nightmare. but still hot.

seems a very good deal , thanks

If you put the price and retailer in the thread title it will get a lot more heat

northern ireland get hit with £12.95 surcharge

Heat given because it is a good deal but a bit late for me as I launched my R200 out the bedroom window few weeks back! I've had 2 epsons and will NEVER again buy a piece of epson worthless sh**e ever again. The print heads always dry up on them and you go through any amount of ink trying to clean them with little or no success.

An aeroplane/ferry costs money!

About 8 to 10 cartridges of each colour.
Good deal been using the same one now for about 2 years on a R300 and still going strong.
Only re filled about 3 times.
make sure you fallow the instructions when fitting as getting air bubbles at the start make it a nightmare to keep the ink flowing. also keep paper towels at hand;-)
I keep my ink tank inside a little plastic open tub in case of any spills.

good deal. Cheaper than filling the last css system i got from them dont need them yet cant not buy for this price? Last css system been faultless used it loads still half full.Hope me old printer keeps going

If this is anything like the two CISS sets we've had at work, I'd give them a miss

Unless you spend decent money on one you'll find the ink/quality is no good. Cant use for photos as the colours are awful, cant use for text as Epsons comparably arent any good for text and the ink more often than not bleeds around the edges with non-epson ink, so other than rough, you can kiss any quality goodbye. You also have to use twice as much ink on a higher quality setting and also invalidate your printer warranty, although I suspect most will have run out or anyone with a cheap printer wont care about replacing if need be. Can also be messy and a pain to set up. We ended up having to leave the lid a jar a bit and had all sorts of problems even though the ones we had were supposed to be pro ones and high quality inks.

Nothing ventured ... etc but I'd not expect too much if you do take the plunge. CISS are great in theory and if they work ok but even the best ones can have problems, hopefully not this one though. Good luck!

fantastic, been running this on my R200 of weeks now, never looked back. Ink is good but dont expect to print high quaility photos - well mine is too streaky, but print online anyway. For general colour printing, fantastic, you dont even think of the price of ink, just remember not to print too much for the sake of the trees :-)

Probably worth buying just for the ink.Anyone know what size the ink tanks are.

this is not for my printer but they do have it for my printer so im happy : )
hot deal thanks

Ordered from this company the last time this deal was on, and they said they had dipatched the item twice, but it never came.
They didn't respond to emails, and didn't pick up the phone.

In the end I had to file a paypal claim..

Absolute joke - Avoid buytech like the plague

Spot the mistake with the 'offer' price

"Beat The Clock Save £0.01
Normal price £6.08 ex VAT Normal price £6.99 inc VAT Offer price £6.09 ex VAT Offer price £7.00 inc VAT
Offer Ends in 2 day(s) - 17h 30m"

1 penny dearer - How is that an offer??

I love css systems, although can be fidly when installing and extremely messy, had something similar with my epson R180, you do literally save maybe 20-30 times the price of a typical cartridge
If your not sure about this site, try diskdepot, they've always been spot on. although they do send me emails all the time!.

Good price for CISS, heat added

Thought my epson was dead until I found this great util ]http//ww…tml

Used before but they are rubbish!!!

Excellent deal, just ordered one

This company is an absolute joke. Seriously I wouldn't buy from them if it was 1p delivered.

Check out this thread on a previous deal from them. I and a few other's had a very unpleasant experience with them and for that reason I am voting COLD!

When it comes to printing, I will settle for nothing but litho :whistling:

The trick with Epsons is to print the odd page occasionally just to stop print heads drying up. I've had an R200 for years and it can be a pain in the **** but the inks are so cheap I'll live with it's little quirks.

You have my sympathy but I do think you've been unlucky. I've never had a problem with an Epson. The current one (R300) has had hard usage for 5 years or so on compatible inks and is still going strong.

The only time it ever dried out was with one particular brand of ink and even then it just needed a better ink and a few head clean cycles to flush it through.

Nice find mate, heat added and ordered one

Nice find, i was just about to bin my R200 which i have been running for years with CISS system, but the tanks have started to leak. Worth replacing with these for that price.

Anyone know if that ssc utility will work on a mac?

Cheers H+R added

Had the same problem (except Paypal claim)

Responded when the County Court summons landed on their oor Step tho:-D
I don't let Bankers like this get away with a penny! Theere should be a list of bankers to avoid:roll:
It cost them dearly for the sake of a bit of Customer Service!

been using cis system for 2 years on epson r220 worked 100% from day one.Never had airlock leaks or nozzle,s blocked had more prob,s using cart,s every time changed them one colour would not print so loads of cleaning and wasting ink .Also well worth downloading css if using cis as if you have old epson lots better than epson sofware also resets all counters ie maintance one for cleaning sponge (it halts printer)

My CISS is at least 5 years and has outlasted the printer, I'm now on my second R320.

People are slagging off these printers but what they seem to fail to notice is that these are one of the very few printers that you can print straight onto a CD/DVD with, so ideal for making... er-hum, backups

wow are epsons still doing that? i went through 4 epsons because of print heads drying up, i gave up on them about 5 years ago and got a canon, to which i am still using to this day, and i always refill my inks myself.

Sorry but I also need to fire a shot at Epson. Dumped my R220 recently due to dried printheads. They are fine if used regularly per previous replies but for the occasional use I would never recommend them. I have reverted to Canon. (Good at firing shots - before anyone else says it! )

Flippin hot. Just bought one from Fleabay for my DX4400 for 26 quid.

Theres loads of models for 7 quid, not just the ones mentionned.

When the item doesn't arrive for all you have purchased they will no doubt blame it on Royal mail. You have been warned! - If you feel compelled to buy from these muppets use paypal as it will be quicker and easier to get a refund.

Stonking price... I'm tempted to change my printer!!!

voted hot, shame they dont do a "pack of 6 100ml bottles"

:-)
