Great Price.
Bought one a year ago. Very usefull especially for breakfeast and making egg sadwiches for lunch.
Doesn't poach/fries eggs just hard/medium/soft boiled eggs (by steam cooking).

Before someone points out you can just boil eggs in a pan for 5 minutes.
Speaking for someone who has used one: its less washing up, less faff, a lot quicker/saves energy because you're not boiling a hole pan of water just enough steam to cook them, same reason people use kettles when you can just boil a pan of water.

Agree with most of your points. I have one and it is much easier and uses less water, etc. But it can be a pain to clean sometimes if some eg white escapes from the holes.

It's a good price, but don't oversell it.
Boiling eggs in a pan is no trouble, and washing 1 pan takes 2 minutes. As for the time this could save, a couple of minutes at best. Personally, I don't bother with a lot of kitchen gadgets, because the kitchen would just be rammed full of devices designed to save a few minutes.

It is the egg cooker that is electric. not the egg
7 is a bit random
these are great! much easier to get a consistent cookedness. are lidl still doing free home delivery on there deals?
I saw this on that "fake britain" programme yesterday............cold......all the chicks died.
