this will be fine for a small person. you'll almost certainly have someone telling you to "spend £20 or £30 quid more" but i'd ignore them.

I got my daughter one for Christmas it's ok for what it's used for a bit slow but for the price can't really complain, a lot of online reviews saying it's a waste of money I disagree it's no where near the quality of an iPad or such but if your ok with that you should be happy enough.

Spend another £300 and get something better like an iPad

Thanks for your replies..Basically all she uses at the mo is my iphone to play games or go on youtube. Would she be able to download the usual kids apps like angry birds etc and use youtube? That's really what shes interested in!

This is better for dwarves? Wot?

Omitted specs that would otherwise influence an informed purchase decision:
512mb RAM & 4GB internal storage (which will probably be the real limiting factors preventing most people from commiting)
1024x600 resolution
It does have Google Play Store and HDMI out which is not particuarly common for similar-priced items from UK outlets.
6hrs usage from 2800mAh battery (which seems a little optimistic).

You'd be better off with the Galaxy from CPW.

repouk. Would the Galaxy do everything my little girl wants?

For angry birds, YouTube should be fine, hopefully the touch screen is fairly responsive, sometimes on cheaper pads they lose the fun because they're clunky to use.

Do NOT buy, Save your money, We used to sell these and a total waste of time, first month ok then after that they would go faulty one by one over a few months until the lot went back to the supplier.

Stick to better branded products

Hi,
with the price of a Samsung tab 3
so cheap you be better off spending £30-£45 and getting a quality product which will last longer. Both my daughters cheap tablets have failed with in 11 months.

I think the word you are looking for is children

Quite annoying when the postage is 25% of the tablet price but this seems to be normal on these type of deals

My daughter had angry birds on hers and I've been on YouTube with it it's decent enough my husband also plays clash of the Titans on it when I've punched the iPad.

You really shouldn't take it out on the iPad

The phrase "buy cheap, buy twice" comes to mind. Especially with tablets. Speaking from experience I would say rule of thumb is stick with a brand you know..... Or at very least a retailer you know even if it's just so they can honour the warranty/return which will inevitably follow.
