    It's ok for once in a blue moon use, but if you need a reliable head torch for work, I'd spend a bit more. I bought a rechargeable one from Decathlon, and that is a lifesaver. My boss once turned up one day with a load of these for the service engineering team (he must have got the same deal here, as that's the only time he was ever generous (apart from a creme egg at Easter)) Everyone agreed they were crap and lost them. Nobody wants to stock up on AAA batteries and pray they haven't gone dead in the meantime. The on/off is an unconvincing twist connection, and the headband is thin and fiddly. (edited)

    These look identical to the pound land type ones. We had a couple and they were poor. The light output is poor, they don't last well and the product is poorly constructed. They are a pound item, it isn't worth any more
    I would agree with the posts about not bothering.

    We now have a petzl one which is so much better.

    I have this, bought for x5 the price about 7 years ago. Still working fine. Not sure what all the hate is about.

    My local Toolstation were giving these away for free if you left a Google review. They are not even worthwhile for free...

    These aren’t that bad. I have a Eurohike one which is exactly the same. Nowhere near good enough as a COB but good for doing jobs in dark areas. Being normal LEDs, the batteries last much longer.

    We got 2 for our boys in a 75% off sale (£1.25 each) from a shop in a park. Santa delivered them in a stocking at Christmas, they woke up at 4.15am but didn't get us up for 3 more hours. So a great investment. They are not good head torches, they are a tad flimsy, and poorly made... but the light is nice and bright and they are amazing for the price.
