These prices are based on return flights from London Gatwick flying on the 8th December for 7 nights.

Works out just over £39 per night each staying all inclusive in a 4* Riu hotel with really good Trip Advisor reviews.

Booking through Holiday Pirates / Holiday Hypermarket works out cheaper than going direct to TUI / First Choice website, even with current cashback offers as far as I can tell.

The price includes:

20 kg checked luggage
5kg hand luggage
Resort transfers
Twin Room

From the website:

KEY FEATURES
  • Massive pool
  • A la carte restaurants
  • Free shuttle bus to the medina

Funny, I felt exactly the same visiting London.

Massive pool but it's not heated and will be too cold to use in December. Daytime temps can be reasonable in December but the long cold nights mean no outdoor pools are usuable.

Thanks for the info. There is an indoor pool so that's some consolation depending on how many people are trying to use it!

Marrakech is a great place for a weekend away but not for a week.

Got this deal last year paid under £900 for 6 of us !! Had a fab time , brilliant food ,entertainment staff amazing. But don't expect too much sunshine, between 15-18 in day , night's very chilly between 4-6 degrees . You are able to heat rooms ,so no really problem .
Happy holidays

You're right not more than 4 days there, spend the rest of nights in agadir or North up casablanca or Rabat

No chance to jump in that pool. Itll be minus in there. Some hotels even empty them out this time of year

Loved Marrakech! Rabat is great too. Lovely people in Morocco.

Time to dump her then.....

I flew over it once never again right **** hole

Agree with 7 nights being too long, especially as it will be chilly in December. We stayed at this hotel last year from 4th-11th November. Lovely hotel, nice grounds, huge pool (that was a bit too chilly to go in then) and food was good standard for all inclusive. Rooms were also nice. There is virtually nothing around the hotel though. We did Marrakech markets for the day which was manic but something you have to do. Weather was around 70-75 degrees and got cold of an evening and had rain bursts occasionally but nothing too bad.

Wouldn't do it in December though. Good deal though for anyone else. Voted hot anyway as can't grumble for that price!

AVOID AVOID! Rui palmerai
probably the worst Rui we have ever stayed in
Awfull hotel
accomodation is light years away from main building
filthy restaurant the staff watched children taking flakes and cherry’s off cakes and then returning them to the buffet

staff that hate the British and make no effort to disguise it.
Atrocious evening entertainment
put on by useless animation crew.
Morroco is is a lovely country with nice people

Essaouira would be a better bet actually. Easy route from Marrakech and a perfect foil to the chaos of the Medina. Agadir is too far and Casablanca is one of the most uninspiring cities in the world imho. Marrakech and Essaouira just fit, like peanut and jelly...

You obviously had a bad time, but having stayed here and many other places in Marrakech I can say with certainty that your view is extreme. But I probably don't have to say any of this, your words speak for themselves.

4 days maximum. Stay in a riad. Accept you will get lost. Enjoy it. Use trip advisor find wonderful places to eat.
I heartily recommend Riad Zola. I've got a review on trip advisor "teddydad".

My wife and I honeymoon at this hotel albeit in July 7 yrs ago and loved the hotel

Any good for a stag do?
