Fantastic deal. Just got back from a holiday in Spain. Wish could go back again.

bad time :-( devastated.

7 nights is no where long enough to see and do much, given the flight is 8 hours each way ur technically losing 1 day through travel! you need to go for 2-4weeks at least!

Depends what you are going for, our 7 night trip in Feb will be without any parks, going to see a bit more of Florida, St Augustine, Clearwater etc. Then August will be back to Disney & cruising again almost 4 weeks to enjoy at a relaxed pace.
We go upto 4 times a year so 7 nights work well sometimes.

Good price, absolute terrible company. From previous experience with thomson I wouldn't want to go if this was free! Book at your own risk.

Orlando is the worse part of florida.

Used to live in tampa, and whenever we go back we go to key west for a few days or pure florida partying and fun, then to Naples for some absolute chill out. none of this fake disney parks or anything.

Everglades Boardwalk has some of the best wildlife and natural flowers including a ghost orchid!

Envy is not nice but all us saving to take the kids for our 'once in our lifetime trip' don't really want to read this..........

hi if you do for 2 weeks it comes in at only another 200!!!!!!!!

Anything later in the year or longer duration ? I have adjusted adults to 4+1 child and still cheap as chips! What planes do Thomson use long haul ?

Im 24 lols. hence going to key west to get blinding drunk and party my **** off. Also jet skiing around the submarine pens will beat any theme park ride imo.

quidco too

Chrisburns83 is right 7 days is no where near long enough,Iv'e been many times and i wouldn't go for less than 3 weeks,

I would not stay at an Econo Lodge and it can get really cold in Florida in January. That damp cold.

Personally I would book flight only (14 nights is similar price) and book hoetel elswhere, far better deals for hotels than Thomson.

Some people go to NY for a weekend...so whats wrong with Florida for 7 days?

You should never ever BUY an ESTA. They are free, there are numerous scam sites charging for them.

We've literally (yesterday) just come back from Florida with Thomson/First Choice and we've now been with them 4 times. Have no complaints with them. It is a good deal for nights if you're not planning on doing the parks.

Myself and my wife have been looking for a nice getaway holiday for months now that was affordable but sunny & exciting too - was sifting through a few places but have found this - amended it slightly for two of us and changed the hotel - but basically if it wasn't for your find i never would have thought of checking thomson out, and those flight prices are amazingly cheap!
So just wanted to say thanks ever so much for helping us get a holiday have some heat & rep

Well I'm typing from Sarasota - was a nice sunny 75F on New Years Eve here.

It rained today and was a bit more humid than usual as a result.

Not sure about Florida being the best holiday destination ever frankly but it has some good points. Kissimmee etc is pretty tacky to say the least but if you are into the theme parks... well there's a lot of choice.

Back to reality for me on Wednesday night, when I head back to Edinburgh but after 2.5 months in Florida it'll be a nice change

Beware, Econolodge accomodation is not good. We justified it to ourselves that we would never be in the room, so condition did not matter but it really spoilt the holiday.

El scorchio! Shame I work in education so can't go and wouldn't take the little one out of school anyway. Now, if someone could find a similar deal in the Easter/Summer hols....!!! (Please don't tell me to wake up and smell the coffee!! oO)

Econolodge was on Undercover Boss USA a few months back where it was commented on the lack of maintenance budget.
I think they have got their act together now as reviews seem to be getting better. Nothing can be as bad as the orlando continental plaza!
