Don't let ANYONE put you off the Maldives! It's magical. And at 7ft above sea level at its highest point, it won't be here forever!
my favourite destination ever - better than bora bora in my opinion having been to both!

We went to Maldives for a week for our honeymoon and it was devine! I suspect two weeks would be a tad bit too much.

I went in June this year for 10 nights (on 10th June).

One morning we had rain for a couple of hours, the rest of the holiday was beautiful sun. Always warm! Wouldn't worry about the weather personally

Why? A week is a perfectly adequate amount of to visit the Maldives.

That I agree with, I’ve been 4 times now and you’re only just relaxed by the end of the first week!

Yes me too. The weather there can suddenly change. One minute full blown sun, next minute full scale monsoon rain. Then aftera few hours dries up quick and back to good old sunshine.

I went in August, best holiday ever! We did get hit by showers here and there, but nothing too extreme.

Decent deal but May/June is more rainy season. But should still get some good amount of sunshine.

Good price for 7 nights, full board, all transport, and over water villa.

It depends where the island is, but we went in May to the South Ari Atoll and it was scorchio and dry all week.
Voyage Prive are really good too. 🏻 🏻

I'd be reluctant to go full board especially for this kind of money.
You go to the Maldives to sun bath and do water activities (swim, snorkeling, diving, etc), so you'll be drinking a lot.
When your paying £1700+ a head for a week the last thing you want is to be paying for drinks.

You are captive audience in any island in the Maldives. You will be paying a lot just for a bottle of water and it will all be importyed.

Full board at this price is very good. Everything has to be shipped or flown in, so everything is incredibly expensive.

Absolute nonsense, there is no comparison. Bora Bora is unlike anywhere else on this planet. Truly a once in a lifetime destination. And yes, I've been to both.

We will have to agree to disagree. Both are lagoons, both have great snorkelling, for me Maldives beat bora on food quality which is huge for me wherever I go. Don’t get me wrong French Polynesia is amazing, but Maldive pips it for me.

Im thinking the same. Would like to go next year but only really considering all Inc for the reasons you posted. Just want to go and relax, not worry about how much we are spending

My kind of holiday, sea sun and sand Where did I hide my lottery ticket
Went to kuredu island resort 21 years ago, it was the most relaxing holiday every. Walked around the sea line of the whole island in less than an hour.
I am sure it will be more developed now, but worth a look.

My god, they have ruined it! Just had a look.
When I visited the accommodation was little single room huts with an open air bathroom.
The resort was very quiet. Very good scuba diving was available, at a price.

It looks lovely, I would love to go, its a shame all that money they charge they haven't put any money into its waste management system.
Plastic island is a hideous eye sore, that really makes this place a horrible evil entity.
If you're going to go though go now, cause that plastic washes back, and it won't look this lovely forever.

I am going to Kuredu in Jaunuary for 10 nights after a week touring Sri Lanka. Have a water bungalow booked and all inclusive.

Don't think it's worth doing Maldives unless AI
If only I had a beautiful lady to go with
What the hell would you do for 7 days? My idea of hell......
