Marrakech Hotel New York on Broadway (2 Star) is a budget hotel which has amazing reviews it is rated 3 on Trip Advisor (based on 944 reviews) 6.8 on Booking.com (based on 683 reviews) and 3.4 on Google Reviews. It is not the Ritz but its a nice looking place to crash as you won't be in the hotel long. It is located Upper West Side of Manhattan so you will be close to all the action New York City has to offer

I think it is cheap as it was placed on this very website by markbowen07 2 weeks ago here and got a good response so clearly other people thought it was to, yes the dates are different but the price is the same, the reason why I have reposted is so other people can go on this holiday if they wish

At least if you are going to vote cold give a reason why, I know this is not a deal that will be for everyone, but by voting cold for no reason only will result in people who are interested in this deal becoming unaware.

"
It seems a good price to be fair, hotels are mentally expensive in manhattan, so last time i was there we stayed in Long Island city, at the verve hotel £90 a night for a good sized clean room, lots of hotels were springing up there and new builds, a good location for metro users being within 2-5 mins walk from the subway and then 15-18 mins to central locations like 56th avenue,Central Park, times sq etc

Personally I.d prefer to have views of mountains or beaches on my holidays, but each to there own.
You got to at least go to New York once in a lifetime..
As it is nice seeing the sights if your a film buff

Pps check that tax is included as that adds another 10-15% on checkout.
at the majority of hotels, in October for a semi decent hotel £1200 wouldn't pay for 4 nights, so an absolute steal is this deal... HoT

Thank you for telling me your opinion I agree with your statement there is a lot better and more expensive hotels if you have the budget, you can change the hotel if you like, I am only trying to do my best to help people out and give them a little help when thinking about New York as it is expensive and not in everyones budget with its often £2000 price tag

Keep an eye out on Expedia too as they have 10% code FABFEB10 AND 8& TCB which can give a good discount. Think it was about £540 in total for 7 nights plus our cheap flights.

Cold.

People dont have to explain why they vote hot so why do they have to explain if they vote cold, its pretty obvious.

Is there any purpose to troll on a perfectly good deal? If so give a reasonable response to that as I find that many deals go cold simply because people think it is funny to do so. People take their time to post a deal in their spare time is it to much to ask to be kind?

Many people disagree with that based on the reviews above, I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience, you can have another hotel if you pay extra.

Thank you for the tip, I did see the cheap flights on Sunday that were going about, but those are gone, Expedia works out more expensive when I checked and they have hotels which are not reviewed as high, but I am sure it will help someone if the prices become lower on Expedia

love new york, just come back after 5 nights there. its a good deal for a week but think about having a look at home away (I think) you can rent a legal (owner lives an top 2 floor of house) apartment for £1000 on the upper east side facing central park. its where we are staying when we go for mums 65th. we stayed at a 2 star on the upper west this time and it was ideal for what we used it for

Worth noting that although this hotel is on Broadway it's a 3 mile, 1 hour walk to Times Square from the hotel.

I know its cheap, but I wouldn't stay there. Try and stay somewhere below 57th street and above 33rd street when in Manhattan. This hotel in on 103rd street!

I wouldn't agree with the need to stay between 57th and 33rd, we stayed on the Upper West Side on 81st street in the summer and it was a superb location right next door to the Museum of Natural History and Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Nobody has to report to you or give you a reason why they voted the way they did. People will vote however they choose and you need to respect that rather than call them Trolls. You cannot tell people what to do.

As mentioned before if a deal is good it will go hot, if not then that's just tuff and you have to live with it.

I am sorry I have offended you, I was not telling people what to do I was requesting they give a reason why that is all. I am not trying to harm anyone it seems that you think I am. Once again sorry for any trouble I have caused you.

well I think its a fab deal at less than 90pppp is brilliant for new york! Also very easy to travel around new york so being very central isnt always necessary. have some heat!

You haven't offended me at all or caused me any trouble. The simple fact is you cannot control the internet and they way people use it so don't bother trying, just bear that in mind. Oh, and please don't call people trolls for voting your deal cold.

I am not trying to control the internet as you are implying, but if it suits you I will remove all my comments, as you feel that I am clearly calling you a troll, which I never did. If you don't like me please just let me know.

Its so weird how people are bothered whether a deal is voted hot or cold. Jeez, maybe a hobby is needed. Incidentally, I voted hot, just so you can sleep tonight.

Um you will find I did not actually call anyone a troll and if I was unclear you could have asked, but I was actually referring to people who vote cold for fun which I made quite clear. I am happy for you to make your points thats why I am replying to you if I was a dictator like you are suggesting I would simply not say anything, but to insinuate that I am something I am not is not very nice.

I don't know what I have done to you but I hope you will see that I was not actually implying anything to cold voters, rather people who like to vote cold because they think it is a joke. If I am wrong for asking people to state why they think it is cold is an offence let me know, if calling people who vote cold for fun a troll is an offence let me know.

According to the internet a troll is

In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Post 8 you say "At least if you are going to vote cold give a reason why" taking the thread off topic.

Post 14 you say "Is there any purpose to troll on a perfectly good deal?" Taking it off topic again and starting trollgate!

Seems to me you have accidentally trolled your own thread here.

I'm voting cold on the premise that the OP is an egotistical pain in the a*se...everyone is free to their opinion and if you stopped spouting off trying to make people explain their choices you might get a hotter deal!

Good deal. Alternatively you can get a 9 night multi-centre Washington/New York/Boston for the same price/maybe cheaper.

theinternettraveller.com/mul…ton

We did this last Feb and it was great, never been to any of the places before and probably enjoyed D.C./Boston more than New York.

The deal includes Virgin flights, Amtrak train tickets between the cities ( I think it was about 2 hours DC-NY and 3 hours NY-BOS) and free Empire States tickets and Boston duck tour (we had this changed to Boston City pass as the duck tour doesn't run over winter).

The hotels in DC (Omni Shoreham) and Boston (Royal Sonesta) were awesome, it was The Milford in NYC, right on Times Square but like a shoe box!

Sorry to hijack the deal, just think it's a good alternative to see a bit more of the East Coast!
