Why you don't you try something called "Google"

Went to Almeria 7 years ago, worst place i have ever been on holiday...There were loads of Spanish holidaymakers (granted...Its there country) but we were looked down at, and plenty of times charged over the top for drink/food

Looks good. Worth £99 I think. HOT!

my mum and dad live there and i love it, the locals are really friendly weather will be good well it normally is around april

Petchey Leisure is a Timeshare Company so be aware you may have to attend a "hard sell" presentation (check the small print!)

Is the flight included?

If you're going on holiday abroad, go all inclusive. Booked mine, two weeks in Alcudia for 2 adults 2 children for £855.

Want to know how you managed that price 90DC??? When r u travelling??? X

What do you mean "looked down at"? And why - because you don't know any Spanish? Maybe they confused you with the thousands of people in that region who have created a large "Little England" in the area? It certainly made me mad, thought I'd finally get a chance to practise my Spanish, then get there and virtually no-one spoke it!

That doesn't sound amazingly special to me (the price - I'm sure you'll have a great time!). Good if that's the kind of thing you like, but hardly reason enough to blanket-recommend all inclusive holidays. Mallorca seemed pretty cheap anyway - and Ryanair fly there from not much more than £10 if you're lucky.

not flights....

For people that can't read, obviously the £99 does NOT include flights but does include an apartment at the hotel which can sleep upto 4 people.
You can have either a double or twin bed(s) plus a double sofa bed.
Think that was plain enough.

Mallorca is far from cheap and for a two week stay work that out per person and then the food you will find that the mallorca holiday is a win 2weeks vs one week sc... You will find that most holidays to spain have sky rocketed this year

FYI it's a lovely area and the people are really nice - I used to live near there for a year.
As for overcharging, in high season, the prices usually go up, but they go up for every one, the prices are in the menu, how can you be overcharged? Don't feed the troll.

Well I spent a week there for about £100 inc flights last summer. Obviously the average family is going to want a bit more comfort than what I had, but I really don't see £855 as a bargain. Certainly not a bad deal no - but not enough to warrant recommending all-inclusive to everyone and everywhere.

That purely depends when you want to go (and whether you need baggage or not/how many KG you need).

Spent 4 weeks in the Almeria province in August, absolutely beautiful place. So much greener than Costa Blanca.

Best place to get cheap flights is using skyscanner.net a price comparison for all flights to and from anywhere. Try to avoid taking more than hand luggage, as this is what bumps your flight fares.

The waterpark is a must if taking younger kids, enjoy it!
Heated added for OP

Better off flying to Murcia for this deal, it might be an extra 30 mins drive from Vera. But will be worth it in flight prices.
Average price each way to Murcia is £50, looking at April for £30 each way! All depends on when you want to go.

Cheapest flight from MAN to LEI (Almeria) £86 each way... don't forget baggage pricing will be added if you take more than 10kg hand luggage allowance.

I went to bell vue last year and thought the hotel was ok,the food was good, entertainment crap and the beer terrible

This is with a time share company. My Mum & Dad went on one of these deals last year and the whole week they were away they were harrassed into buying timeshare, they HAD to attend a day meeting (its part of the contract of going) to try and be persuaded to part with their money. They were constantly asked for credit card details. On the last day my Dad was spoken to very rudely and told he was a waste of space and obviously had no money because he hadn't signed up! If you are hard enough to not care or be bothered by these salesmen then its great, if easily offended don't go!

Well i wouldnt like to go on holiday where you stayed !!!!!!!!!! And on average a return flight to mallorca between apr to sep is £150 per person not £10 , if your lucky you might get it one way out of season for £10 !!!!! wind your neck in

so is this £99pp or total for the entire week?

Stay at a Petchey Leisure resort in Portugal previously, and yes, they'll ask you to go to a sales meeting for the time share.

My advise? Go! To sit through a 3 hour meeting and presentation, we got another week free at any of 15 resorts. When we revisited on the free week, we went to meet with the sales rep and got 2 bottles of wine (we were honest and said we didn't think it was for us, and we there about half an hour).

Nice company from my experience.

Well I go on holiday to experience the place I'm visiting, not the hotel room.

I didn't say you could get it for £10 return. I said Ryanair fly there for not much more than £10 - which they do. There are a few dates for march for around £12, a few in april for around £18 then May and June are around £30 (and would probably get cheaper when they launch their sale for that period.

I'm not suggesting people spend £100 on their holiday, just that in comparison, I hardly see £855 as the absolute bargain over self-catering that they are claiming it is.

rodman

how hot it is gonna be at the end of April?

It's the driest part of Spain so expect 20-25 degrees by April. I was there in August and it hot 50 degrees. Just be warned that Vera is also the home of a very large nudist resort with a large nudist beach. having said that Mojacar just 1 mile away is fantastic for the beach.
