Excellent price for a weeks holiday in Majorca for a couple with small kids. Gets decent scores on TripAdvisor too (4/5).
It's a big thumbs up from us for the Bahía Pollensa. Families and couples will love its spacious rooms and excellent facilities, which include an inviting swimming pool and a poolside snack bar. And the public areas are being refurbished ready for 2018. Pollensa beach with its fine sands and shallow waters is ideal for kids and there are also plenty of watersports on offer.

Heat ! Brilliant deal
Great price op
This is not during school holidays, plenty of cheap holidays available during school holidays. Unless you have a valid reason to not be able to go in these times then why risk their education? We've just booked a week in Tenerife during the school holidays for 4 of us for £768... Via loveholidays

Not everyone needs them in the school holidays it could be with younger children. Or home educated children.

And for those people then great.

However we know people that will book their holidays a week outside the school holidays because it's £100 cheaper. Is it really worth it?

Plenty of cheap holidays, starting from £60 a person to Portugal in the school holidays. No point me providing a specific link as I don't know where you want to go, or when your school holidays are, or where you want to depart from.

However here is a link for all destinations and from all airports using the dates for my own kids school holidays as a reference point.

This however is the one we booked to Tenerife, flying from Newcastle, £195pp plus quidco.

I voted hot by the way, the price is great for what you get, I was just giving my 2 cents on the fact cheap holidays can be found in the school holidays if you look.
They did say ok for two SMALL children so I would guess they don't need to keep to your holiday regime.

The price is for two children, small children are classed as babies or toddlers and so don't need to pay for flights, only taxes.

One of my dear friends is a deputy head at a school and they have extremely strict targets to hit with absences and grades etc, a few ignorant parents don't take this into account just to save a few quid. If it was a family wedding, or a one off special holiday then fair enough, but a week in Majorca should be neither.
Keep ya trunks on they just trying to be helpful just because it not for you

I messed around with ages when I checked and it was the same price whether the children were 2 or 14

Schools targets to justify their level of boasting etc is not something I would take into account.
I would however think about the impact on my child. If it’s the last week of term where they roll out the TV etc i personally see a family holiday as more beneficial.
School targets are not what parents should worry about in my opinion.

My own thoughts are for the child too, I was just pointing out it effects more than you and your child. My child has a last day of term, not a last week of term. Up until that last day is business as usual. It's all important.

People should also think about the teachers, it can't be easy teaching a class when some of the children are behind and have no idea what the teacher is talking about and so that will hinder the education of the other children in the class.

Taking a child out of school during term time is ignorant, reckless and the parents get zero sympathy from me, I even refused a father a job at my business due to this exact thing.

If parents spent an hour a day with there kids doing maths English science homework or whatever it is then people wouldn't have to worry about taking there kids out of school for a week for a holiday. Parents now don't spend time helping them they give them Xbox YouTube to watch because it's easy instead of making sure they do there work.

Wicked deal.

Taking kids out of school even for a day without good reason is irresponsible and should not be advocated, TV out or not. They might be covering other topics during the day, it's not like they put the TV on all day.
Having said that, good deal for people with young children.
