great cheers was going to pop in glad I saw this....

This is what i've been waiting for, still pricey as of today, thanks OP

Already started in my local sainsburys, started yesterday

Rayleigh are half price but they have loads to put out as they got stuck in the warehouse!!

Buy the good ones now, go back in tomorrow as stocks will be drying up and get them to refund the difference

Eggs were half price today in my local but the 3 for £2.50 deal they had on last week wasn't so even with 50% off some eggs were actually more expensive today!?

Are folk really surprised and grateful for the news that supermarkets are now selling off their easter goods cheaply.

Some of you seem to forget this is an annual event. Are there members out there who aren't aware. Surely not.

Can you get them to do this?

As spring turns to summer and so on, we all know easter eggs will be heavily discounted after Easter. Sigh

Guess they're making shelf space for Halloween stuff!

The other post is not the same. In fact the other post is completely wrong, there is no 75% off.

I saw some poorly reduced Creme Eggs, bags of Mini Eggs and very little else Easter related.
Do they ship this stuff straight out of Lancaster and take the bargains to other stores?

I went to mine on Sunday. No Easter eggs. Just some crappy cadbury bunnies by the pallet load brought in for some fake sale.

I'm gonna wait until Monday, and buy a 70% off royal wedding mug, and have a nice cheap cheery cuppa with my 70% off yummy chocco egg.

My wife went in to our local Sainsbury's today. 50% off all eggs apart from the dairy free ones (our daughter has had to go on a dairy free diet) which was still full price. When she asked why they said "I dunno. The ingredients probably cost more". Told them she hoped they were stuck with them. The robbers (I know they can charge what they want but still feel cheated).

Bear in mind that the eggs being sold before easter at asda/tesco for £1 were £2.50 at sainsburys, so even 70% off only makes them 75p, hardly a bargain!

ok i'll say it...

eggcellent
