Good price, £70 on amazon.

It's a nightmare to clean!

It's a nightmare to clean!

Juicers all are! It also costs a fortune for the fruit also.

Still a good price if you have plenty of time to clean it (wife comes to mind!) and have a fortune to spare for the fruit!

This is a great price! I can't seem to add it to basket though, anybody else having the same problem? I would order one if I could.

Maybe because you have found a hot deal thats months old :whistling:

Whoops, I just noticed the date of the OP's post.

Does anybody know of any other offers on this juicer? Wish I'd noticed this one sooner, it's such a great price.

Possible, LOL!

I got one when the offer was valid. It is a nightmare to clean and I only used it once. It suggests that it is whole fruit juicer but oranges and several other fruits have to be peeled. Plus none of the parts are dishwasher safe.

ok , this has put me off buying a juicer, i was in the process of looking for one.
can anyone make me change my mind and give me any benefits of buying a juicer and any recommendations would be welcome.
i really thought i needed one after i saw a demo on 'the wright stuff' , but now the more i think about it, i am questioning whether its worth it, cos i am sure that i have read somewhere that the skin on many fruits apples, pears, grapes etc contains many nutrients as well, so its better just to consume the whole fruit.
any opinions please.
thanks

Expired now

We got one last year, top of the range etc for approx £90 - similar to this model Antony Worral Thompson one.
Yes they get messy but ours is fully Dishwasher safe, so just put all the bits in and you're good to go. It's best to put a bag in the waste dispenser jug to save some of the cleaning, and even put the contents back through as some of the juice will be in the waste!

We only seem to use it every few weeks now but thats cause we are a bit lazy, but if you are health concious or just want to make sure you get a good amount of good quality juice then you should get one, the taste is great and although fruit is expensive you can buy cheap oldish-dated fruit and it just tastes the same once juiced! Or just juice what you have lying around, so saves throwing it away!

Also the left overs can be composted if you're that way inclined

With the price of juice, and smooties dropping, the thought of the price of fruit, and the cleaning has indicated that this item will go n the cupboard with the breadmaker, and soda stream, voted hot, as is a bargain if you are in the market for one.

If you were doing a smoothie then yes the skin would be good to use the peel but if your wanting a Juicer then you would peel it to make a Juice
