70 Piece Set. Contains 3 sizes of Titanium Nitride coated Screwdriver Bits. Compartment slots straight into your Screws Trade Case.
70 x 25mm bits: 15 x PZ #1, 40 x PZ #2, 15 x PZ #3.

Probably always been this price but it is an amazing bulk deal.

10 bits will cost £5 but if you pay twice that you get 70 bits.

Worth checking out if you do a lot of screwing!

Very handy if you have just gone for this deal.

Why would the avearge joe want 40 x PZ #2? 1 or 2 maybe but 40? each piece will last if you treat it right, so why would you need 40 of #2? If it was a kit of all different sizes this would be hot but 3 dif sizes, and 15 x #1, 15 x #3 and 40 x #2.... just not great deal, and it is always this price.

Brilliant deal for me and 99% of tradesmen.
Pozi 2 screws are the de facto fixing.

Kits with different sized heads are a good gimmick,But most of the heads end up unused in the bottom of the toolbox.

WOW! thanks OP. Thats the Mrs Xmas gift sorted. Lazy cow can get some of the DIY jobs around the house done. Heat added.

A surface coating of Titanium Nitride on a cutting tool makes good sense. On a screwdriver, it's just a gimmick, what counts is what is under the coating.

Given my insatiable appetite, shame it's not a deal for 70 titanium nitride condoms!

you may need 70, as inside they could be made of chocolate, i'd rather spend the same amount of money on better quality

If by treating it right you mean mounting it in a glass case on the wall, then yes. If by treating it right you mean using it in an electric screwdriver, then no, it's going to wear out. These things do not last forever, but I agree that 40 of them (if reasonable quality) are going to last an awfully long time.

If you're a tradesman and use a torque drive then 40 bits wont last that long
Good deal but I'd prefer it if it was 70 x PZ 2 I never use PZ 1 or 3

well i use mine in my drill (dewalt 18v), been through 2 in the last year and i use it frequently. So it should last 20 years for that box. As i said, for the average Joe, its not a good deal. For the trade (as screwfix is aimed at) it is.
