Possible a slightly niche deal but, once again, I need a inexpensive wheel for my road bike thanks to someone damaging it when I left it locked up. This is the cheapest I've found for a branded rim on a Shimano hub. Was £54.99, so 27% off an already good price. Rutland Cycling have a few other wheels on sale at the moment too. I do appreciate that this is a pretty low-end wheel, but it seems to be well reviewed for what it is.

if you need a cheap rear wheel I'd probably go for something like this
ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/…202

with 12% off its about £65 and then i'd sell the front one or keep it for when i need it.

Can the r500s be used with a single speed hub?

Yep, that's a bargain for the R500 if you're light enough to get away with 20/24 spoke wheels (which most cyclists are!)

Or Quest wheels from The Bike Shop at Pinnar.... got two sets and (touch wood) never broken a single gorgeous bladed spoke....

cheers op been looking for a new back wheel, little bleeders tried to have me bike off, couldnt steal it so decided to bend or break every spoke

Oh, god. How did I know a MAMIL would pop out the woodwork and say that?!

Came on to mention the R500's from Ribble but I've been well between to it. Much better off with them imho.
