as with most of these cheap cameras, the chipset and sensor is years old, this one at least 4.
Its a good brand though, so probably as good a camera as any.

Any idea on decently priced newer ones?

I still don't understand why no car manufacturers put a USB socket by the mirror.

Cost, why spend money to sell other company's products

If they could sell it as an extra however then they'll look into it

I have one of these hardwired in one of my cars - it's nice in that it's small and discrete, and the video from it is pretty good.......it's just that the lack of any screen means you're never quite sure it's actually on (especially as it's entirely obscured by the mirror).

I have one of these, s1 model has voice commands and few other bits. They have non voice version that’s cheaper. Worth looking into that as I think the voice commands are a bit useless. Quality is pretty good both build and footage. It also has bump start so if anyone was to bump into your car while parked it would start recording given the internal battery still has juice. Great bit of kit for the money.

I'm going to get this camera and stick it on my bicycle helmet so I can catch all those annoying car drivers on their mobile phones, speeding and doing their makeup at the lights.

Also, I can't wait for the ULEZ extension to kick in so us cyclist can get some more tax free road for cycle lanes.

Never had a problem with them either. 1 item refunded due to non delivery but eventually turned up! They are getting a bit pricey but I'll still buy off them.

I guess it depends how many transactions you've completed with them and the value.

I've done a hell of a lot of orders via Ali over the years and I can assure you that you're far safer buying via eBay / PayPal than you're AliExpress, especially when it comes to recovering your money.

I've honestly lost hundreds of pounds over the years on there so I kinda know what to expect now.

Saying that I just ordered another Topton PC for £300+ which is currently on its way, hopefully this week or next. 🤞

    Don't want to jinx it
