Cheapest this has been was £34 I think. I bought it then and can't fault it. Really excellent camera with very good video quality.

Heat from me. Had it a few months now and can't fault it. Excellent video quality and unit feels solid. Apps ok, prefer with YI app but overall top camera for the money.

It appears that to use the advance driver assist and lane monitoring you need to pay extra for the GPS module.

My cigar lighter socket is only live when the ignition is on. Does anyone know does this run on its own battery or have to be hard wired? The idea if when parked it will kick into life if someone hits you is appealing, but if the dash cam is pointing forwards and you get hit up the rear, is not much use, unless you need 2 of them.

On the Ali express link, lots if other dash cams cone up below. Can anyone say why this one or another is better than the others?

The dash cam has an inbuilt battery to handle recordings while parked (with the ignition off). It works but seems to be oversensitive so when the kids slam the doors I get notified of a new emergency recording when I return to the car.

Other than that the dash cam is great. Thinking of buying another to add to the rear window.

What is the connection like? I've had 2 nicked from my car so still have the hardwire kit wired in

Can this support 2 channel for REAR? I’ve read that it supports a reverse camera, which I guess is not full 2 channel

I have this dashcam and have used it for the past few months now. Video quality is very good, easy to use, very handy app to view videos straight away, parking mode.

I placed mine near the dotted area near the mirror so it can’t be easily seen outside. I’m gonna pick one up and use it as a rear cam

Is it possible to not have the screen on when in use with this dashcam? Thanks

yes, I did a lot of research on it and now bought one.
You can turn screen off and on with voice commands.

How easy or difficult is this to transfer between vehicles, it is not hard-wired .
