Unless they have upped their game i found their service slow. I was only getting around 35mbps on my 150mbps connection where PIA VPN im getting my full speed.

I read side loading the Android app doesn't work. You could try this method instead: nathanbeers.net/how…tv/ Otherwise youll have to run the VPN on your router.

Just tested speed and more or less what I am getting without using. Using a server in Belgium.
Seriously consider VPN Unlimited. Been with them with a lifetime deal for several months and I didn't pay this much. Also speeds are high and they cater for torrenting.

And when I last updated it was much cheaper, use it away with work, tried loads of them across. He worked and PIA has been the most reliable and fastest.
most vpns do not fool Netflix or Amazon nowadays and vypr vpn is the only one i would use as its far better than most.
    PIA or NordVPN?

You have to speak as you find, and I'm happy to say that I have tried most of the above mentioned at some point. NORD is the only vpn that I have not had any problems after 18 months of use in many countries. Also, they seem to have some sort of customer service which talks to you. It isn't as cheap as it once was, but I have found it to be a quality service.

    Can't find it.
Never tried nerd VPN. Pia was painfully slow.

Using VPN unlimited lifetime cheapo deal from ages ago on here. Can't fault it so far. Wouldn't know about netflix etc, I get my TV viewing via over methods.

Using a VPN doesn't make you secure or anomalous online it acts more like a proxy, which may help but will not hide you (and good luck verifying that they don't keep logs/records)

NordVPN is consistently rated as one of the top VPNs for privacy. They offer double VPN hops and also have an option to route via Tor for additional anonymity. It’s not a VPN for tv watching, it’s one that takes privacy seriously so you’re paying more for that.
So how do these things work? Do I stick the settings in my router and everything connected to it is affected? Can it easily be turned off? I'm just worried that it's going to interfere with stuff like PSN and Steam. I've also heard that Netflix can ban VPN users but I don't know how likely that would be, although I wouldn't want that happening to me.
is this better than IPVanish? IPVanish keeps logging me out of the app and the speeds are slow.
    US Netflix?
Netflix is a pain now with Nord. It fails, stops or buffed constantly.

Just earlier someone else mentioned Nord works fine with US Netflix so a bit confusing which is best for that service. Can anyone recommend one that still works for the US version?

Not nords fault it's the overhead of the VPN encryption and decryption making connection slower. I run DD-WRT as a virtual machine I achieve only a 10% bandwidth drop, whereas I was getting 60% when using my router.

Its just a easy peasy app. You select the country you want and click connect

You can do it that way, but you can also just activate it on the device you're using. There are apps for iPad and iPhone (and I guess other phones too) and I have it on my Mac and just switch it on when I'm using it. I did find using Nord via the router slowed the internet down quite a bit, but not so much just on the device.
I can't help but think this is self promotion by the company. However it has pointed me towards either NordVPN or ExpressVPN, so am grateful
