ASDA have the huge box of 72 Weetabix on a rollback down to a bargain price of £2.44 just now (usually £4.89). Got a couple of the Tickled Pink boxes today and the shelves were emptying pretty quickly at this price. 48 cost £3.30 and £1.78 for 24 so its a no brainer. My store has them in the Tickled Pink Breast Cancer boxes as well as the normal yellow boxes so look out for both.

Brill price - HOT from me

thanks a lot m8, my kids love this.

Best stock up for the sisters visit, she eats these like I eat the snack size ones

Also at Tesco for £2.40 - bought from Purley Tesco today. 48 biscuits were 3.80 bizarrely!

Bought some of the tickled pink ones today, brilliant price & cheaper than costco too. It's all my kids will have for breakfast!
Loads left at Boldon

Excellent price.
Heat added

Great price, will stock up all this week.

Best be buying some of these to take to my brother house when I visit. Would hate to deprive him. I hope hes bought some syrup........ and can spare the milk.

I bought these yesterday! Bought the pink ones cause the one in the normal box was still selling at £4 something for some reason! Thought these were asda own brand. Tasty for my belly

WHAAAAAAAAT!!! I went to Asda today to buy Lenovo at £199 (lool) and Weetabix. Only the 48 were on special(ish) offer, not reduced enough to tempt me, so ended up buying two boxes of Weetabix minis (first time for everything) because they were on special £1 per box. Had I been at Tesco I would have bought own brand, but I hate Asda's own brand and needed Weetabix!

I think the chocolate Weetabix (and they wonder why our children are obese) were on offer!

Should keep me going for about 3 days.

cool love these heat added

HOT - we go through a 48 box every week - wife and 2 of the kids

Weetabix chocolate is significantly healthier than most other cereals except weetabix / porridge & the normal unsugared cereals. Sugars as %:

Crunchy Nut - 35%
Cornflakes - 8%
Special K original - 17%
Choc Weetabix - 15.9%
Sugar Puffs - 35%
Rice Krispies - 10%
Coco pops - 35%
Weetabix mini's - all over 20%

If you can get your kids to weetabix choc - you'll be doing well. Now sugars are not everything - look at the other % nutritional facts on all above - Kellogs don't fare so well. Weetabix seem to have a good way. Me - as a Scot - I prefer porridge with a dash of salt and a pint of milk - there goes the high blood pressure

I'm old fashioned me. I cannot cope with two aisles of cereal. When I was a youngster(!) you could count the different cereals on your fingers. My household follows the same sort of rules with a few exemptions

Weetabix
Rice Krispies
Porridge (like you, love this stuff, with sugar off course. I do miss the cream from the gold top)
Cornflakes
Shreddies sometimes Frosted
Frosties (I make them dilute this with Cornflakes, like my mum did to us. The kids think they are deprived, I did too when I was young!)
Bran Flakes
I'm not a health freak, and don't impose on others but I can't cope with sugar overdose first thing. The kids have given up trying to convert me and themselves also!

13's my max.. too full...

btw one of the lowest fat cereals for those who care is sugar puffs, better than special K anyway just check the label, my body concious mate reads em all

It's the sugar not the fat that will get you in these. He can't be that health conscious if he doesn't know that.

dont think he was that arsed about sugar just fat, u should see the size on the fella and not a scrap o fat anywhere, too much effort for me though and suppose the diet your providing your kids its a bit different from what the big gym goer wants

Bought these today in Asda for op's price but it did say on the shelf £5something.
So if it is priced up at £5 odd check it at the till.
Hot deal btw

great find, hope some more are left on the shelves when I pop in later today!

Full price in my local. Good job I checked with the assistant tho, you should have seen her face. Total disbelief. Im sure she thought I had scammed her in some way. You know that confused look . I think she thought her machine was broke. Looked a right wally tho pushing two trolleys full of weetabix to the check out. LOL. cheers op.

X) Glad you got a bargain! Our shelves are now full of them as OH went back and got some more last night. At least they've got good dates on them - not that they'll last long in here.

Heat added. Excellent for big families.

GM rubbish...

bought 3 boxes of tickled pink ones, thanks

anyone had the australian square weetabix? think i prefer it as it holds its shape somewhat more, this is a little like instant mush

No haven't seen that before. Must admit I do have to eat my weetabix straight away as soon as the milk hits it as like it when its still crunchy and try to finish quick before its goes soggy.

Love 'em soggy me

Fantastic deal, priced at £4.89 @ my local Asda, filled up a trolly and they scanned at the "right" price...otherwise the shop assistant was going to have to put them all back.:p

Sadly, the Tesco deal must have expired, as a box of 72 scanned at full price for me yesterday evening. Will try Asda later to see whether I have better luck there.

Local Asda don't even stock Weetabix 72 packs!

So, I needed a bigger Asda!

Where better than the HUGE Asda Walmart in Livingston. They had a shelf end display of the poofy pink Weetabix 72 packs, so picked up 3 of these, should keep me going for 72 work days then!

+ For each pack you buy, Asda give 40p to charity. WIN WIN

Aw the pink boxes are lovely and for a great cause. I got loads of them and from the same store as you lol.

Still the same inside though so just take them out the box and put them into a macho yellow one instead to save face X)

I hadn't eaten since I was kid either until I had my own kids and started again. Its a brilliant weaning food when their babies. They've just carried on eating every morning as well which I'm glad. I don't buy anything other than weetabix or cornflakes so they're used to "plain" stuff!

Damn, found myself in Liverpool today but saw them at full price and didn't bother! Bother!
