Dont buy them as most will die out before maturity and theres about 20-30% dead when they arrive in tiny plugs

Yes, I had the same experience, the plants die within 2 weeks. IMO a total waste effort and money.

Just don't. The death rate of these plants is so high that it's just not worth it. You might get less plants at a garden centre but they will be 10x larger and actually give a good display.

Had a good experience last year. Have loads of perennials now, all starting to come in at the moment. Got way more than 6 of each as there were several in each plug. I'm green fingered though, not for everybody.

Thanks OP, as I received their email but had not noticed. Went through lots of hoops to be able to order. Each year I have better luck. These will arrive around March. Usually tiny they need planting immediately and kept inside and nurturing. When they are big enough and strong enough, transfer to pots. When stronger put outside. Yes you will loose some, but the percentage that survive will make it all worth while.
