Resolution is very low and not sure on support for issues and FW updates etc.

Maybe not - it's under £12 so I doubt you would get Apple levels of support.

Bought this last year for around 6 quid, fitted it as rear view camera.
Seems good for what it is. I've never removed the card to view footage. It seems to be recording
Only issue is sometimes it goes on then off again at the start (could be dependent on how and when I turn the car key in ignition).
I pull the USB out for a second and it restarts.
Don't expect most people will have the same issue.
probably more my car than the camera.

Cheap tat, interpolated images, can't make anything out, only cheap for a reason. If you own a Ford that has a constantly live 12v socket then don't forget to unplug otherwise I suspect tour car will be a nice firey glow when you get back to it.

i have same issue, trick is to turn key, wait 3-5 seconds, then start engine. If your too quick, gets confused, turns off and won't switch back on.
Also good practice to pop out sd card atleast once a month, few footage briefly and then format using the dashcam. A few time my footage become corrupt or becomes blurry, format and its fine again
