7.5% off at loads of pubs, food outlets etc Sep 25th

Tax parity day is on September 25th where loads of places have pledged to reduce their prices for one day only by 7.5% to show what the effect of a Vat cut on them from 20% to 5% would do for customers.

The group have written to every pub so a lot of local pubs will be reducing by 7.5%.30,000 Asian restaurants have pledged their support.

Great as a publicity stunt, but I wonder how many of these corporations would make the savings permanent for customers if VAT were to be to reduced
