Its not, there is a huge thread on here when the same deal was on last time, sky are very strict on who gets it and know if you have been sent the offer.

Brilliant price if you get it though,

Funnily enough I got this in the post today. (Says 75% off on the envelop.) Saves me the trouble of opening it! Still works out more than what I paid for full package multiroom HD.

Hope I get one through, got two earlier in the year and didn't go for it. Now want football back!

So existing customers are better off by cancelling current contract and hoping for an invite

For those who received this, roughly how long had your left Sky before they offered you this?

I think they first offer you the half price for 6 months and if you decline then they send you the 75% off but that could be up to 6 months after cancelling.

I left sky 6 weeks ago and have received no leaflets or calls. Having said that I did just come off the 12 months half price deal.

Could we get a scan of the leaflet?

Currently on 25% off, free multiroom, half off HD by attempting to leave!

I am currently in year three of subscribing.

First year free hd for a year half price full package
Year two half price full package for a year full price hd
Year three no offer, unsubscribed waited four weeks and got the 75% off offer earlier this year.

I would never pay full price for sky, if you have the bottle to have it turned off for a month then you will get an offer...

I received my letter/flyer on saturday
I cancelled my sky tv but kept the phone and broadband on the 8th August 2012
Im happy with freeview hd, i only ever watched comedy central so it would have to be 99% off for me to go back to sky tv

Mine expired in July. I've had 3 or 4 calls at home asking if I'm interested in any special deals and I didn't even ask them what they were offering.

interesting, might have to see how it pans out. I can hold out for quite a bit so shouldn't be an issue there. Its not so much the channels I miss but the option to record and rewind stuff. I've got a Samsung tv that has the functions to do that via USB but doesn't feel quite the same.

Think I'll wait, if I call sky asking them for the discount I'm guessing it gives the game away that you're missing the service.

WOW.

Thanks for this. I'll phone tomoz and see if I can get it. Been waiting for something like this to come along.

I'll let you know if I can blag the deal.

Thanks again OP.

I cancelled my sky membership about 6 months ago. They called before it got disconnected and offered me every channel including movies and football free for 6 months. I took up their offer and put a note in my calendar. I recently cancelled again and this time they offered me a further 4 months completely free. How do they make any money?

It would be helpful, for me and others, if someone could post a scan of the flyer.

TIA,

Mark.

It wont help to be honest, lots of people tried this last time and unless you have been sent the flyer you wont get the offer

..DOH, I hope that this time it is different.

...I am unsure if it's rellevent, but although I no longer subscribe to Sky TV I am still a Sky phone line & broadband customer - have people in the same situation as me recieved the 75% Off offer ?

Also, just seen that you can now buy a 1 TB Sky+ HD Box for £49 !!!

sky.com/sho…tb/ .

I so want to get this offer. Just phoned and was told this offer is dealt with by the Sky Re-Subscriptions Department, which is now closed. Was advised to call back tomorrow, - fingers crossed

Could someone kindly upload picture of flyer please.

I called to cancel earlier - I need to reduce my out-goings. I pay about £65 per month to Sky. Had they offered me something like this deal, i'd have snapped it up. Very friendly person on the phone, but the best she could offer was a £10.50 discount. My package gets cancelled on the 11th October.

Just got an offer through someone who works at sky. Offer is half price HD + 75p for basic package. After adding movies, sports.entertainment extra it comes to just under £23 per month for 12 months. I'm a new customer and this was via a link after I had follow a link from an email sent to me.
Cancelled virgin next day.

Haven't received it yet, but still think Freesat is likely to be cheaper and not significantly different for me - not necessarily true if you want football I guess..

i called them once a week for 2 months till they offered me a deal lol

I've scanned it on cloudserve

@aabarcellos,

Have you got the link?

so if i take the entertainment package , movies and sports , how much would that be a month for the 12 months? anyone know if the £50 credit will cover the first month or 2 bills or how does it work

Just to give a heads up - there is no way to blag the deal, it will show on the system if you have been mailed or not, I tried it, ended up just being offered 6 months full package totally free instead....wasnt going to say no to that lol!

Bad news and good news.

The bad news - I haven't been sent the 75% off letter, and according to there data, I am not due to be.

The good news - Initially offered 50% off for 12 months which I respectfully declined.

I pointed out to the helpful Scottish guy that I had previously been a TV customer for 10 years, and could he please try and speak with a manager and get me the 75% deal.

He came back and offered 75% off Sky TV, Entertainment Pack, and Movies pack, but with full price HD for 12 months. Also got a 1TB HD+ box for £49 including free fitting.

So, basically, I got the offer the OP posted minus the £50 credit. Very happy.

Thanks again OP

HTH,

Mark.

This should be expired - as its not available to most people.

I have this deal from Sky and its very good, however as other have said - you need to get offered it - its a written offer. Its not available unless they ask you. I got offered it about 6 months after cancelling everything, although I kept the broadband.

Plus you are paying for HD for 12 months (_;)

"Plus you are paying for HD for 12 months "

I will pay for 12 months cos I have a big HD plasma, but they did say I could downgrade after 3 months if I wanted.

Now that I have Sky TV again I will not have to pay the £2.50 premium for broadband.

Also considering phoning them after the 1TB Sky HD+ box has been fitted and trying to get some discount on my phone & broadband pack - they currently offer new customers FREE phone line rental and broadband for the first 6 months, that's a £22 a month saving! Has anyone tried this?

I phoned them up about 6months back and asked about any deals to save a bit of money, this is what i got.
Half price B/B for 12 months
Free line rental for 12 months
Took them up, few weeks later i cancelled the TV package, still have free line rental but B/B went up to £10 per month, could have stuck to my guns about it being £7 or so with the £2.50 increase but saving £50 per month just now.
Also have the the 75% off flyer, but still not worth it.

they have given me the free broadband and line rental ... and ive been a customer since 2002, although the guy said they couldnt apply the line rental as a free offer due to their system not allowing it, so credited my sky account with 87 pounds which covers 6 months line rental.... so im happy

ive no idea about the credit as ive not got that particular offer, but on your first bill you will get billed from the day you connect + 2 months in advance...for example if your billing date was the 1st of the month, you would get charged a pro rata amount up to the 1st, then get billed again for 60 days, as you dont get a bill for at least 31 days or so, so the credit should cover you

Just rang them.

They say as I am getting 75% off TV there are no discounts available for line rental & broadband ???

Do you have TV? Was your TV discounted when they gave you 6 months free?

I asked to speak with a manager but was told they are very busy at the moment so a manager is not available.

I said I'd call back later and try to get the 6 months free offer, and if they couldn't let me have it I'd cancel the phone line and broad band. I wont cancel, just seeing if that motivated them to offer some discount.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Was offered any package 4 months for free here.... declined, 'cos it's crap! with even crapper adverts in between!

Wow I left them 5 weeks and nothing in the post nor calls. I got cut off on the 3rd sept.

The only thing would probably stop me from taking a free 6 months or less deal is that I plan to take out multi room and that would automatically tie me into a 12 month contract.

Left sky 6 months ago had a half price flyer in august which i forgot to accept, 2 weeks later got this 75% off leaflet also got ESPN free for 3 month so happy days :-)

I got this flyer in the post after I resubbed to sky. Just came off the phone to them (after being put through to cancellations as 1st bloke wouldn't apply the offer). Movies, Sports and HD for 31.38 a month plus £50 (effectively my phone, tv and broadband for a month free).
