76MB Fibre + Anytime Calls + Line Rental - £25.00 Per month / 18 mths

Found 17th Mar
Just set this up for my parents and thought it was to good of a deal not to share.

We are a new customer and got the following today.

I got his deal over the phone so unsure if available online or live chat

80MB fibre
Anytime calls including mobile
Line rental
Caller display
18Months contract
£25.00PM

Which I think is a brilliant deal. I understand talk talk is not for everyone however this is for my parents who are currently use to 8mb speeds and currently paying more than this new deal so it's a no brainer for me.

Spoke with customer service again as email says price will go up by £2.50 after 12months.However they have fixed this as agent added wrong discount on.

+

Also got a £50 credit as my previous supplier offered my this to stay and talk talk agreed to match credit

Attractive price. But just wait until there is a problem or you need some customer service from TalkTalk and you'll regret signing up with them.

You'll find someone with bad experience of most providers but TalkTalk are the worst by far. (Source - Which? survey conducted in June/July 2017 across 1700 customers of 11 major telecoms providers)
I have been with Talktalk for many years but there service has only gone downhill. It may be good price but you get what you pay for and they have finerly allowed me to leave without having to pay up in full as they could not/did not fix problems after 30 days and around 10 calls to them.

Are the calls just to talktalk numbers?

Are the calls just to talktalk numbers?

No calls are to all UK landline including 0800 and mobile numbers. 60 minute rule applies

Seems a decent price if you are a heavy land line user
Did you speak to someone to get the £50 credit?
Says £33.50 for me as an existing customer

Yes had to speak to support new customer support team to get credit
They are offering their faster fibre for £22.50. Unrelated to OPs deal, but it prompted me to check, and I was paying £25 for the same thing so a nice little saving.
Not getting unlimited calls or caller display as all are extra taking cost to near £40 per month? Just went on live chat and deal is not from Talktalk but could be a 3rd party offer? But who?

"including 0870 0845" - are you sure about that?

Their website does not offer faster than 38MB BB so how did you get 80Mb?

Although not explicitly stated, they offer 80mb fibre by adding their 'Faster fibre speed boost' to your plan. You can see on the OP's screenshot that they're paying £2.50 a month for this speed/feature.

Good deal with the fibre.
I'm with ee Anytime call including 1500 mins to call mobile, international calls included (great if you have friends and family in america) plus 5gb of mobile Internet added to your pay monthly contract on top of what ever allowance you already get.
All for £25/18months
The deal is coming up as £27.50? Then £36 with unlimited calls?

Will I get the £33? I have been with TT since 2005
Wait till u have a problem or slow internet issues and have to deal with customer care, it’s then not such a great deal, more like a bad deal

I got this on the 5th of March using live chat, ignore what prices appears on website.Further information here:hotukdeals.com/dea…923.
As others have said, good price & all fine until something goes wrong. worst customer service possible.
So is this actually a deal or not then?! Currently paying c. £44 a month for the same from BT but with no mobile calls or caller display...

Have heard that TalkTalk are a bit sh*te so would need some reassurance. Anyone?

Do, they have always been fine for me. Thinking of taking this up myself as sky have just upped their prices...

This included or at extra cost?

Yes, unless you're on fibre as that gets a bit messy.
Has anyone accept the OP had any luck getting this deal?

Depends on the issue - I was with TalkTalk fibre for a while. If there is a major connectivity fault covering an area you get pretty good updates of progress to fix it. If you have an individual problem - then the problems become significant. The phone staff are completely ineffectual, the UK staff on the user forum always take days to reply to a post, the chief executive's office are really the only option if you can't get a fix - a decent ISP does not not require you to consistently have to take the CE route.

Of course, as you say, if you have no problems then it's a good price, but you are taking a gamble with your sanity.

Remember that if you're getting this under TalkTalk's fixed price guarantee then you are locked in for 18 months, no get out of jail free card by leaving early when they announce a price rise.

I've just got this deal but better 22.50 for 3 months and then 25 for the rest of the 15 months.. called loyalty dept. and asked if thats the best they can do.

They did say when reading t&c's that you eligible to leave if they change price so this is not the case. By the way i got it for £22.50 a month for 18 months as i have been having trouble with a discount they had promised previously on an old account. Lets see what this new boost brings. Cheers!
Wow HOT
Surprised this is hot. I wouldn't use talk talk if this was free for 18 months! Sorry but cold
Actually, be aware everyone. I noticed on the confirmation email that the £11 discount only lasted for 12 months and contract was too, yet my other discounts lasted 18 months and also had an 18 month contract on those, so when your £11 discount comes to an end you'll be paying that on top to see out the remaining 6 months. I rang back and got them to fix this even thought the first conversation i had said all discounts would apply to the whole 18 months. Its a good deal, but you do have to watch talk talk when negotiating as you can barely understand some of the operators.
