I was going to say the irony!, as I was in Aldi just yesterday! .. then realised that your Deal doesn't go 'live' until 1 day short of this time next week!, so i'm guessing that'd be irony 2, huh? (irony upon irony!), hehehehehehe. :-)

Good Deal .. I picked up their Brochure as well, but as yet have not looked into it, i'm guessing I will now ..... lol.

Be in the store at 09:00:30 on Thursday or OOS.

I would say go for xiaomi power bank 10400mAh for £7.77

That's not a power bank. This is a power bank!

I saw a 10000mAh on Amazon for the same price, although it seems the brand is banned from here due to self-promotion :-/

Go for this: amazon.co.uk/gp/…XMK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00

It's 20000mah and solid quality.

You only need that if you have an iPhone

10400 mAh for 6.99 --- this one seems a better one.. so Cold for me

Blimey! 12 hours to charge this beast according to the Amazon reviews.

Is this really going to last power wise?? The Free EE Chargers are rubbish!!

Neither of those things fit the definition of irony. Here's a list of more things that aren't ironic -

Apparently charges an iPhone 6 10 times! haha so 12 hours is about right :P

It may be better to buy a spare battery and keep it charged with the mains charger and then take the spare with you . If you are in to DIY then there are video on the net how to make your own solar charger out of 4 solatr panels taken off your old or new solar garden lights. You solder the wires together and put them in a plastic folder , then solder your phones plug on the end.
Of course iSheep don't have the option to swap batteries!

Get an Anker one..... Quality and will last.... Dodgy ones on Ebay will blow up!

I've been after an Anker one, would you mind suggesting one for me, please?

Anker, EasyAcc and a few others use either Samsung or LG cells, so it's all down to the circuits in each power bank to determine how much juice is available. And is most cases due to voltage conversion/heat generated you can usually expect 70% of the stated mAh based on full charge, so roughly 7000mAh for this Aldi one. Still a few charges to be had though

I love when you get an idiot whos battery is running out on a night out and still have their Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc everything on

Am I correct to say most of these don't come with a 3 pin ac adaptor, but I could use a white Apple one, along with the Lightning/USB iPhone cable to charge up the power bank.?

I got the anker astro e6 20800mAh although paid less than its currently on offer at Amazon. Seems to be about 28 quid currently. Either way it works well. Doesn't come with a 3 pin adapter, just the micro USB cable.

As others say you can get cheaper, I needed it in a hurry and was the best I could find at the time

Shard

You only need that if you have an iPhone

That's odd. Last time I checked, my note 4 needed to fill its 3220mAh battery to last less than a day, whereas my iPhone only needs half that to fill its battery and last a day. Please explain.

Really don't understand these jokes about iPhone battery life. Mine lasts a lot longer than my note 4 and even a couple of the windows phones I've used.

Are you being sarcastic? As i purchased apparent 20000mah from ebay, total fake capacity. It cant even charge my note 10.1 which is 12000mah. Like memory cards, i wouldnt buy them from there again, and ebay dont want nothing to do with it!

I got decent one from amazon, via flubit.

Why do people vote things hot just because they are from aldi/lidl.
Doesn't automatically mean they are cheap or any good. on most occasions they are neither.

Can anyone recommend one that does deliver its stated mah. Does one even exist. I hate all this only 70% of the stated power, due to the circuitry. It's like buying a 1tb hard drive and its under 900gb when you come to use it.

ordered the Xiaomi from Bang Good. thanks!

probably because you can't do F all on your iPhone so it stays in your pocket

I paid a Tenner for a 25,000 with 2A output on eBay. UK seller and arrived next day, so cold from me I'm afraid.

And this is a German power bank:

Anker Astro E1 is 5200mah - pocket sized and £11.99 at Amazon although sometimes £9.99
There are bigger more expensive versions but this portable enough for most people

On eBay if you search for "portable Samsung charger 50000mah" there are several for 18 quid, are them any good or is it just a fake?
