Doesn't say if this is the newer 2017 version as sold on Amazon which has "BRAND NEW IMPROVED VERSION FOR 2017 WITH STRONGER EARCUP SWIVELS " :

https://www.amazon.co.uk/7dayshop-Headphones-Active-Cancelling-Aeroplane/dp/B00AXVURFY/

Many of the 1 star reviews say the earcup broke after short period of time/light use. Guessing it's the older version here on ebay?
These visually resemble my set of Lindy Noise Cancelling headphones. Style is the same, case is the same, buttons appear to be in the same place. Even the same assessories. So could these be rebranded Lindy? Lindys cost me about £60 (5 star on what hi-fi)

I almost want to buy them to find out. Must resist

+£2.99 delivery.
I have a pair of these. Used them lots of times without any issues. A bargain at this price.
I bought these headphones 2 weeks ago and have just sent them back.. they arrived all packaged up but they had such a strong smell of cigarette smoke that I couldn't get rid of.
I've had these a couple of years now. Bought for long haul flights. I even had a chance to compare them side-by-side with a colleagues £200+ Bose ones.

Without hesitation I'd say that they are not as good as Bose ones, in that the noise cancelling isn't as effective. However, they are probably 80-85% of the way there... they are also comfortable, come with a good sturdy case and have good, if not brilliant, sound quality (but much the same as the Bose). I'm very happy with mine and for the price these are a no-brainer.
Bought these a couple of years ago, mainly for flying. They may not be as good as the Bose but they're a tenth of the price.
Bargain!
Any thoughts on the wireless version of these for £39.99 on Amazon? amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

Voted hot btw!
Not impressed by these. With the ANC turned on the is a lot 'white noise' (hissing). For me, the ear cups become irritating after 1/2 hour or so.
But good price, so not voting either way.
I can only back up what BigAde and KrispiiDuck have already said. I bought a pair each for my daughter and I to use on long haul flights and more than happy with them. Compared them to a colleagues Bose and not in the same league, but you don't expect that at the price. I find them comfy, they do the job and I won't be too peeved if I lose/break them either.

I would say it's more a cigar smoke smell. It does fade over time though and they're otherwise a great headset. Noise cancelling is very noticeable.

They the ones I have. Ive not had an issue with them, but I have not used them much. Just use them for flights.
Paid £45 for them a year ago. They do the job decent enough. - if I was a frequent flyer, I would get a pair of Bose though!
These are really good. I assume the Bose ones are better, but i can't see how much better they can really be.

I use them mostly for plane journeys. They cut out around 75% of engine noise when you switch them on, and if you play some music or watch a film, it cuts out about 90% of the noise, to the point that you can't actually hear it after a few minutes.

The battery is a lot better than the website states as well. I've used them on four 7 hour flights and two 4 hour flights (36 hours) and i haven't changed the batteries yet! I'm kinda scared about how its actually doing it.
I bought these a couple of years ago and mainly use them in the gym and on flights and you can plug the wire in if they're not charged (although you can't use the noise cancelling aspect). The noise cancelling aspect is good for price. I paid £40 for them and thought they were a bargain. Heat added.

Lots of comparisons with £250+ Bose. Has anyone compared them to sub £100 branded Sony, Philips, etc?

Battery life is amazing on these; lasts months. Noise reduction is good but I've never used anything else.

I don't think they are; I was between these and the lindy when I bought them; I think the lindy takes 1 AAA battery and these take 2.

Ordered thanks
**Apologies if someone has posted this above, I didnt go through the whole list**

These headphones look remarkable like the KitSound Immerse ones I bought from Sainsburys on sale for £40 at Xmas - https://www.amazon.co.uk/KitSound-Bluetooth-Headphone-Cancellation-Smartphone/dp/B01HM3WW7G
I wonder if they are just lookalikes or actually a unbranded yum cha version of the same headphones....if so.....get these as my KitSound were are, i thought, a bargain for £40.

- Upon further investigations they just look similar, I cannot say if they are made in the same factory etc but the KitSound ones have a much nicer, higher quality finish to them. I do however think these might just be worth a punt - Heat added!
