Wow indeed - the equivalent models of these chargers are two or three times the price elsewhere. There are cheaper models (and 7dayshop sell a couple) but none of them have the capabilities this model has.

I bought this for £17.99 few months ago. 7DS seems to have increased there prices and thrown in a meagre discount code.

The Xtar VC4 is about this price. I'd have that over this any day of the week. Haven't voted either way.

My Nitecore was about this price from Amazon

Looks like an updated version of the Lacrosse charger?

If so thich should be able to discharge and recharge to give Battery total mAh which would be useful.

However I have a VC4 which is good enough and cost less than this.

You may think that.......I couldn't possibly comment.
But I do have a couple of the excellent VC4s, and one of these, and they're entirely different types of charger, each with very different and specific capabilities.

I take it back then

Here's some light ready for those that want to do their HOMEWORK

Vc4 doesn't have a discharge function but does charge 18650 's etc.

This looks like an improved version of their AA/AAA which is awesome.

VC4 may be also.. but has some quirks in use, and doesn't have the same feature set.

The only issue I have with this is they talk about it having backlight, but I'm not convinced. None of the photos show it with a backlit screen.

Which is the best model then, was just about to buy an Xtar, flip sake

I'm afraid this probably isn't going to help you much, but I use both. Each has its advantages. I use the Xtar almost exclusively for C and D cells (in oldspeak) and 18650s. And one like the 7dayshop one above for everything else.

Thanks. One of my power tool batteries just does and it's got 3x 18650 inside which are reading 0 volts

does = died

Now £22.99
