Looks a good price for this capacity. Price comes down to £3.59 if you order 2-3 and further discounts as you increase quantity.

Perfect for Xbox 360 controllers and digital cameras.

"These are the UK's best value AA 2800 mAh Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries ! This 2800 mAh AA is our very latest and highest capacity Ni-Mh rechargeable battery that we sell. These batteries will offer you the ultimate in both performance and battery life. Ni-Mh (nickel metal hydride) type batteries are favoured by demanding users as they are memory free and offer superb performance over traditional Ni-Cad rechargeable and even single-use Alkaline types. Perfect for all high and low drain devices and especially ideal for digital cameras too. These 7dayshop.com batteries are compatible with many good quality chargers and equipment types."

HOT, good larger battery size

would recommend the brand... ive just thrown a set out - lasted me a good 6 years or so of constant useage in my camera.

On the flip side, I have found that they are slightly bigger than other AA batteries so are a pig to get out (eg of a xbox 360 controller), hold significantly less charge than either advertised or other batteries, including lidl's ones (using an lcd-display charger in test mode). I have had ones that hold no charge at all brand new from 7dayshop too. I bought about six sets of four (including some AAA size) at the time, but never again.

Nothing remotely special about this price!

I have used this particular battery before, and they are fine, but so are plenty of others eg.

with cased 2900mah at £5.75 delivered (cheaper rates for bigger purchases)

That said, I wouldn't buy them either! Regardless of the power, I no longer buy standard type rechargeables, instead I use only the new technology (Hybrio/Eneloop type), currently only £5.40 for 4 xAA at Vapextech (in case). Despite the nominally lower capacity, in practice, the lower self discharge means better convenience, and when you actually come it USE them they are holding more charge than the so-called higher power ones! Unless you vitally need the higher capacity, also charge them immediately before use, and plan to use them up within a very short period, then they are far more versatile.

Not disputing that the ones you had were great - but they were almost certainly not from the same manufacturer and I doubt they were 2800mah.

Wake me up when they are back to £4.10 like they used to be...
