Typical selling price a few years ago maybe, now it's been seriously overtaken by technology. As a universal controller it is OK but customisation is very limited and there is no tactile feedback - you have to squint at the little black and white screen to be sure of tapping the right button. I have one of these and it has fallen down the back of a sofa or something, and it is not missed, because it was a pain. Go for a Logitech Harmony or even a Kameleon rather than this.

not bad for a tenner, personally however, I quite like having 3 remotes! Makes me feel like a big man...

Just thought i would post my first reply! Been a surfer for a long time and finally took the plunge!
Got one of these a couple of months back when they were selling them for £19.99.
Have to say it is extremely heavy on the batteries!;-);-);-)
Mines lies in a drawer now.

Hope it helps

would have got this - typical gadget freak - but no stock locally even though displaying as in stock........

Its hardly surprising we are all getting obese with remotes for everything.

Its about time we went back to getting our wives to change channels.

Agree with most of th comments here.....I have one of these and it isn't a bad price for the what you get but yes, it is heavy on the batteries (4xAAA) and it is not the most comfortable to use.

And customisation is limited and a bit dated - i.e. dolby digital and DTS are the only ones available for your amp.

But I think if you wanted a cheap one for all job you could do worse.....just don't expect miracles for a tenner.

the upside is my wife can't figure out what I have done with it, so I am always in control!:-D
