Any body else seen this in their local store? Wilko offers can be very store specific.

I am going to mine in Stroud tomorrow so will update.

Not sure if it is online I bought them instore. They were upstairs with the diy stuff in Sunderland, had none downstairs with other batteries.

Still amazes me that people buy disposable batteries, when you can get rechargeable ones, even have a spare set of "stay charged" ones.

Agree completely, just money down the drain imo. I only use non-rechargable for smoke/Co2 alarms and remote controls. Any new batteries supplied from the kids toys I whip out and replace with rechargeables and keep them for said use.

they dont stay charged forever and alkalines are good for back ups especially during electicity outages (weve had about 20 in the last year from 15 mins to 19 hours, southern electric suck!!...

have about 20 alkaline spares at any time and about 200-250 nimh and lithium rechargeable (latest aa and oversized aa ones)....the latter will soon replace nimh's - more power

Batteries again!

I've just stocked up AA & AAA's, they are expiry 2015 so not even a quick sell off due to short shelf life =)
