I would buy from play.com for an extra £1.49, which is a far better company

You have to spend £10 or more so you are saving £1.49 (from the play.com price)

you can also get the 2*4GB from play.com for £10.99

Yes but you have to spend £10.00 or more !

£10.99 - £7.99 is £3.00 not 1.49 saving:thumbsup:

if you want one 8gb why would you go to play to buy 2 4GB?

So you only loose half the data:thumbsup:

Good price, I need to buy some other things on there anyway. Good filler items include parker pens and sharpies for a £1 each.

Looks a good price but i bought 3 unbranded 1 Gig ones that looked exactly like this about a year ago and non of them working now, i sticking with good brand names from now.

this seems a good deal.

Although, my eye is drawn towards the high speed usb flash drives... even if they are £10 more

Unbranded ones always fail, why risk your data with cheap rubbish!

Lose.

Sorry for being a spelling fascist, lol.

I had a drive (2GB) which looked exactly like this.

It was called emprex (bought from Fry's in the US)and lasted me quite well and infact is still working..

Not sure though if it is the same.

Google emprex usb drive and look for images.

I got one by Andrex, it sure got rid of my crap when it went down!

Might be a dodgy make, but it breaks the £1/GB barrier - so until someone confirms it's slow or unreliable, it gets hot from me!

Excellent point!

I bought one of these last night. I didn't realise this post never made it hot (I nearly duplicated it too!)

I guess for moving data around that's non-critical it's ok. I wouldn't want to rely on this for something important - can you imagine turning up to give a talk and finding that your PP presentation is inaccessible?

Not quite under £1 per gig, but this one will be a Kingston underneath 7dayshop.com/cat…966

garbage456;7490802

next cheapest i can see is £11.49 @ play or 12.99 @ amazon

£9.99 at 7dayshop 7dayshop.com/cat…967 or £10.49 for a faster Dane Electric one 7dayshop.com/cat…202

it is a hot deal, but could be risky for important documents.

Might be wrong but I purchased on of these ages ago from eBay, imported from Hong Kong, lol.

It was only £5 for 15GB, yep 15. Bargain even if it did break after 3 months.

I have had a look on the Big Offer site Forum it makes very interesting reading!
