Surely no one would pay £16 for two curry- my local would deliver more and better and probably still have change left

I wouldn't touch Cobra beer if you delivered it to my door for free.

Why beer?! I hate it. Why Tesco not offer an alternative
Maybe some of the money will go to help pay off the tens of millions of ££££s Lord Bilimora and Cobra Beer owed their creditors. Not withstanding his continual interference in British politics. A truly awful man.

I would like King Cobra than 24 pack of Carling
IMHO
Ends on the 5th June........

Been on since 15th May.

The price is pretty irrelevant when the food is this bad.

It's no coincidence that Tesco is the only one of the big supermarkets that doesn't allow for reviews on their website. They know everything would get slammed.

Really? It's not exceptional, but absolutely fine. Same level as your Heinekens and Stellas.

I love nice beers, but I find it strange to be so snobby about it. Not like we're talking Bud Light or something.

It's the obnoxious owner Biliamora I have issue with.

I would not allow his product Cobra Beer to even sit on my table.

The vegetable snack selection side is very good.
The mains and rice are dreadful.

I hate wine ( which most meal deals consist of) so to have beer in a meal deal is great
Quite generous portions of curry at 460g and must admit I love the Chicken madras and jalfrezi. Never tried the beer but seems a brilliant offer including sides. With the curries that include rice in supermarkets there often isn't that much actual curry maybe 160-180g and many of them are poor like the Lidl's version.

If you buy a 40p kg bag of rice I'm sure this could feed 4-6 people especially if you go for the side dishes like bombay potato, Saag Aloo or Tarka Dahl and you'd still have probably 90% of the rice left. Myself I'll scoff down a 460g curry in one go.

Yeah cause when i go for a curry, and i order a pint or bottle of cobra, the 1st thing on my mind is "the obnoxious owner"

Fight the cause your fighting for i guess?

Chicken Tikka main was £1.25 each in Brookfield Tesco last week, idk if this is as good a deal as you’d initially think... seems they’re trying to shift a load

Yeh but then I’m left with a bottle of cobra. That defeats the idea of a meal deal paying more doesn’t it(lipstick)

Heineken is so much nicer than Cobra for me. Although Cobra is fine, it's just not something I would personally choose. Heineken is a really nice clean tasting beer in my opinion, and Stella isn't awful either. Bud Light is pretty nice though I agree

Just freeze the food until World Cup time. Sorted.
Everyone complaining about the beer but I find Tesco curries to be very bland and tasteless, even the Tesco Finest ones.
