Saw these on Amazon , I'm going away just after Christmas, so these get my vote of hot only £5.99 + £2.99 , they look a bargain to me and ideal for traveling and compacting my suitcase. I'm also thinking of emptying my cupboard and using for holiday clothes.

Ive added this now
If these are like every other vacuum bag then they will only keep the air out for a week or two.

I've found my asda one's have lasted well a box with 5 different sizes I think big enough for kingsize 13.5 tog duvets too I got them for a fiver not sure if they still do it too
I got some of these once. stored loads of bedding, duvets and pillows etc in them and stuck them under the bed. I woke up the next morning with a broken nose from the ceiling.
Bought 2 packs. You know you are a proper grown up when you bulk buy storage.

I don't understand how these would be useful for travelling. Surely you'd need to vacuum pack everything again ready for the journey home (so they'd fit in your suitcase) and who has access to a vacuum cleaner when on holiday?

And if they let in air over time then they aren't much good for storage either.

The one's I've bought from Poundland tear very easily. I'd rather pay more and get something more likely to last. These ones have good reviews.

Thats what I thought, they look really sturdy
As storage, if these hold their seal then they're really handy but for holidays? If you're carrying so much that you need to compact it down to fit then I'd suggest you either need a bigger bag, or to take less crap! I don't know anyone who comes back with less than they set off with, so without a vacuum at the other end, then what's the point?
I need to store a load of my old clothes so going to give these a go. Thanks OP
