If you work for the bbc

I dont have a tv license, so I can't watch sky news. I can see that its unfair to watch bbc without a license, but what is the rational of making it illegal to watch sky or itv news live. bad law criminalises normal behaviour.

Thanks very much just grabbed gangsta granny and mr stink.

Don't worry, sky news is rubbish and you're not subjected to Kay Burley. I'm actually jealous.

Nice find. Pity you cant seem to add two things to your basket, wanted four things for 1.99 each, but ended up with two.

Thanks! Just bought The Return of Doctor Mysterio and Silver Nemesis (massive Doctor Who fan!)

For anyone who is a fan of classic Doctor Who here is the links to some classic episodes (with the £4 voucher of course):
Doctor Who - Silver Nemesis
Doctor Who - Black Orchid
Doctor Who - The Sontaran Experiment
Doctor Who - Ghost Light
Doctor Who - The Happiness Patrol
Doctor Who - The Two Doctors

There are a few more like The Edge of Destruction and The Chase and stuff, but you can have a look, lots of good episodes on there.

How do you actually view these digital files...BBCiPlayer? Can you copy them to disc, put them on your firestick etc?

Thanks op, just bought 'American: The Bill Hicks Story' in HD

You do not need a tv license if you buy something from BBC Store and watch it. I asked the BBC last year and that is what they replied.

Thank you for reaching out to the BBC Store Team. I am delighted to … Thank you for reaching out to the BBC Store Team. Ah, sorry mate. I'll ask and see If your thread could merge with mine. FYI, post these in the deal section in future

Thanks FantasyDeals, got Peter Pan goes wrong.

May be a silly question but how do you watch stuff purchased from the BBC store? Is it only on device that have the BBC store app or does it attach to an iplayer login and then watchable on anything that lets you use the iplayer?!

Jesus, a simple 'yes' would have sufficed!

Great stuff, picked up a few of the Only Fools & Horses specials as most aren't in the box set I have. Not having watched them in years, I shoved the box set in my bag for something to watch if the weather wasn't very good on a holiday to Whitby last year. My three girls aged 8, 9 and 12 had never seen it. It pi**ed it down most of the week so we watched all 7 seasons and they loved it.

They thought something was wrong with me in the run up to chandelier scene in A Touch of Glass as I was crying in anticipation of what was going to happen X) I've not seen them all fall about laughing as much as they did afterwards...so funny. Timeless comedy.

So we fully pay for something with our Tax/license fee and then once it's complete we can then buy it!

I really hate the BBC I don't like having to fund a system that is full of Private School Kids!
Yes I've done a lot of work with the BBC and it is sickening how self cultured it's staff are.

No DVDs anymore?

Don't forget the twisting / falling to report news accurately (or at all) for their own gain.

I've worked at the BBC as well, as an outside contractor. There is a definite BBC type. Very middle class, very group-think, full of luvvies, as you would expect for a media organisation.

Care to give some examples of that, backed up by evidence? Or are you thinking about the arch-manipulators UKIP and Donald Trump?

No waterloo road...come on BBC what is this

isnt all this included on the iplayer as part of your licence? If not, It bloody well should be! oO

I wanted the Drugs Map of England/U.K. & that's not in there either!

Plus the links to Luther with prices starting from 99p have suddenly increased to £1.89!!! :-/

AND you still can't watch your purchased items via iPlayer on a Chromcast!
