Hi @ozkerrizo which store did you find these?
I somehow feel the hatred & bile rising in the throat of daily mail writers whenever I see the word "Avacado" nowadays.
"Fill ya boots!"

Can I eat them instead

Apparantly when or if we leave EU the price of avocados will fall because of EU import tariffs.

Apart from not doing politics here, nobody has a clue what's gonna happen, so plainly inaccurate.
Can you freeze avocado or otherwise delay them ripening? Great price but I wouldn't want to have to eat all 8 in the space of 3-4 days when theyre ripe and before they go really mushy
with "ripen at home fruit" you have precisely 30 mins too eat it in between the "oh it's still too hard to eat it" and the "ffs that fruit has went off" stage, the supermarkets and suppliers must be chuckling into they're champagne at folks who buy this stuff

Keep them in the fridge to stop ripening/keep fresh. I take one/two out at a time and place in the fruit bowl to ripen for a few days- then use and repeat. I've kept "ripen at home" avocados for approximately a month from date of purchase by doing this

Until there is a deal with the EU regarding the imports/exports, absolutely nobody knows what is going to be the new tariff after the Brexit. But most of the avocados come from South America or Africa, only a few from Spain, so it's unlikely that we'll have a different tax for those continents (unless our agreement is thanks to the EU, in which case we'll need to make a new one with the affected countries).
Does anyone know how much one of these avocados weight? I'm trying to figure it out if their are cheaper than Aldi's or any other shop.
